there something great about a family owned restaurant that comes through in every way. this restaurant is located in downtown garland, a really cute area. it's a big place, i've never had to wait. service is smooth and accurate. the food is outstanding. i had the egg topped green enchiladas on my last visit and i think they are best i've had, and i love egg topped enchiladas. this place really does it right.

basically a taco bell. food was or worth paying for and the beer was warm. just save some time and go to taco bell or taco bueno. not sure how they stay open, the food is horrible

food is great. service is worthless.. since the owners hired people to take care of the place service has gone down. i still like the food but i fail to comprehend how they can stay in business and not get an order correct.
i have been checking to be certain i get all the stuff that goes with my order. because for a long time i would get home and the tortillas or salad would be missing. i have not been looking inside the plates to see if the stuff i ordered was in there. until today when they gave me a plate of food that i did not want and did not give the one i ordered. i am certain i paid more than what it was worth too. all i got was i am sorry again. so they will not be bothered by my to go orders for a long time.
i am certain another tex mex place will try to work with me on getting an order correct.

never again. waitress was very inattentive, food had unusually large amount of grease, ( puddles ) can get better chips in generic section of the grocery store, meat was partially raw, guacamole had zero taste, but the hot sauce was really good. overall, was a giant waste of time and money.

this is my favorite mexican food place! the food is amazing and the service is great i don't think we have ever waited more than 10 to 12 min for our food. between my husband and myself, our teas or beer we usually order and to entrees we usually spend about 23 bucks.

we moved to garland 7 years ago and found this place when checking out old downtown. was pleasantly surprised to find a texmex place only a few blocks from our house. salsa is food and never had a bad dish here. the fajita's are the best deal if you're in the mood for th. we give this place 10 stars out of 10.

tex-mex to the max. if you like true tex-mex then this is the place for you. not hyped with things you have never heard of but real live perfectly made tex-mex. i grew up with tex-mex food and i don't know of a better tex-mex non-hyped straight forward decently priced tex-mex. really like the cheese chili-relleno! perfect every time.

if you want real tex-mex then go to dos banderas. great prices and great food at good prices.

geat tex-mex!. my husband and i have been to this place a few times and always enjoy the 'diner-like' menu, friendly service and fabulous home-made food. the prices are very reasonable and the ingredients are always fresh and tasty. worth the stop if you're in the garland area.

i love this place. the avacado enchildas are wonderful and have not found them anywhere else. they also hav the best margaritas around.
