amazing woodfire wings !. we go to doolittle's frequently, because it's good food for a good price. if you get there around 6:00 you can usually be seated immediately. we asked to sit 'somewhere warm' and they seated us right in front of the rotisserie! it was an amazing sight, whole chickens and chicken wings going round and round, dripping juices on the blazing wood fire below. by the time we'd finished our martinis (excellent, by the way) i was drooling. we ordered their chicken wings appetizer, and they were amazing--not too spicy, juicy, tender, falling off the bone. i was in heaven. after those i was ready to order a half chicken for my entree, but decided to have the chicken pomodoro instead. what a disappointment! the chicken was flavorful and crunchy but the pasta was bland and pointless. i ate the chicken and left the pasta. my husband had the blue cheese steak, which he enjoyed very much -- cooked to perfection and tender. i was jealous of the slivered root veggies that came with his entree. since it was his birthday, we got a free dessert so we ordered a bread pudding. a huge disappointment--it was dry, with a crunchy texture like they forgot to put the milk in, and had no flavor whatsoever. a waste of calories. the waitress offered to bring us something else but we were too full. our server was very good and made every effort to ensure that experience was enjoyable. decent wine list. they have a parking lot but it's always crowded.
