worst place ever! called way ahead of time for mother's day, and they "lost" our name. would never go back.

9-15-17 omg  they must add their monte cristo sandwich to the regular menu.  freaking fantastica

great place to have brunch with family or friends. the food was amazing, a little bit on the expensive side but it is still worth it. the bar has different options to choose from, it's not as bad as cafeteria food but it could definitely be better.

whenever i try a new place, i can usually rely on the recommendations and tips of foursquare users. not so much this time, though. brian and i decided to try doo-dah diner after church yesterday. i’d heard so many good things about the restaurant that i had such high expectations. brian got what he usually orders at most breakfast places: biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and two eggs fried hard. he was disappointed that his biscuits were hard as hockey pucks. he said they weren’t fresh by any means. the sausage gravy was okay but bland as with the hash browns and eggs. i ordered the country fried steak dinner which came highly recommended on foursquare but, like brian’s meal, everything on my plate was under seasoned. it’s like they ran out of salt in the kitchen or something. i’ve had some friends who have had wonderful dining experiences at doo-dah and some who haven’t, but the general consensus is this place serves great food is awesome overall. our server was definitely friendly. a

this is by far the best diner in town! the staff is very sweet and polite and the food is to die for!! the banana bread french toast is a must try. i’ve had an omelet, biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, pancakes and have never been disappointed. if you are visiting wichita, put this on your list for breakfast!

what a cool, iconic place! if doo-dah diner stays the course, they will no doubt become a multi-generational classic. they are already woven into fabric of wichita and by the looks of it will not easily become unraveled.
i had the corned beef hash. the onions were perfectly caramelized, the chunks of corned beef were nicely seared, crusty and moist and the potatoes nicely browned. well done!!! my son enjoyed his brutus — crispy hash browns topped with sautéed onions, country-fried steak, sausage gravy and two eggs. lots of comfort and joy! my wife enjoyed the tanya’s benny (benedict) — basically a well-executed eggs benedict with thick sliced maple-pepper bacon. the eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise sauce was excellent. looking forward to my next visit to wichita... we will be back.

it’s a friday and our 2nd time here. so glad it was the same great food and service as the first time. our server, laura, was awesome! very warm and polite. she started us off with complimentary monkey bread and kept my coffee topped off. i got the basic breakfast with eggs over medium, biscuit with a side of gravy and a pancake. one cannot come here and not get a pancake. the biscuits are amazing and so are the cakes! had to take half of my breakfast home.

thanks for being a genuine ict treasure! our goal is to try absolutely everything on the menu! thank you ddd!!!

this place is a heart attack waiting to happen, but it is delicious food. it’s a place i enjoy, but i rarely go because the food is too fattening. this is a place to remember when i want a rare but memorable lunchtime splurge. it is also a splurge lunch place because, with a tip,it cost $19 just for me!

we went there on a sunday morning about 9am.  we got right in, but by the time we left, there were quite a few waiting to be seated.  they have an all you can eat on sunday mornings, for 20.00 a person.  we decided to spend the money since we had always heard fabulous reviews about it.  the hostesses were extremely friendly as soon as we walked in the door.  they explained how it worked on sundays with the buffet before we were seated.  drinks are included in the price.  good coffee, flavored creamers on the table, but also brought us regular creamer.  lots to choose from on the buffet.  best biscuits and gravy i think i've ever had.  awesome burritos, awesome bacon, awesome grits, lots of fruit to choose from all wonderful food.  they also have an omelet menu that they will custom make for you that you can order from when you are seated.

gotta love little mom n' pop places like this. great twists on breakfast classics as well as new dishes. also, every order comes with a bowl of monkey bread! who doesn't love monkey bread as an appetizer?? the prices are a bit above average competed to other places in town, but i think the food, atmosphere, and service is well worth the extra cash. the place gets real busy on the weekends, so we had a wait a bit, but they have a large waiting area and kept us comfortable. we had good food, great service, and best of all, we had a good time! we will definitely be back soon.
