these donuts are incredibly addictive. they are habit forming. seriously. the crullers are fabulous, and oh, my lord, the chocolate.. or maple... or simply glazed buttermilk cake donuts. yum! a friend of mine recommended the place for the apple fritters, and they're good, sure--with real bits of apple inside... thick and crusty and sweet...but i promise you i get something different every time and it's always good!!! i'd pick donut world over krispy kreme any day!

call me homer. the apple fritters are heavenly. donut holes are spectacular and melt in your mouth. 20 years ago dunkin used to make donuts like this, but no longer. it's an indulgence, but well worth it.

not so much..... visited on a saturday morning since the family wanted donuts. we usually go to krispy kreme but decided to try out donut world. donuts were freshly baked, yes. i love bavarian donuts and was sooo disappointed. the bavarians that i've come to love were awful. the filling was not 'pudding' like in taste at all, the small amount that was in them. the typical glazed donuts were fine. my kids love the sprinkled donuts but they said they tasted bad and wouldn't eat them. for the same price, we'll stick w/krispy kreme.

this place rocks!. omg!! the apple fritter and old fashion donut were soooooo good! this place may put other donut shops out of business.

custard yum. i stopped in donut world today after seeing their ad on late nite tv. i thought i died and went to heaven. the custard in he chocolate covered was rich and yes! "custardy". "the lemon was "lemony and i can't wait to try a few others. i live around the corner from kk but will drive across town the next time i crave donuts.

yum. their doughnuts are very good. i like the choices offered, and the fresh yeasty flavor. i selected a blue berry, and a cruller with chocolate frosting. i have never eaten a cruller before. i enjoyed the light almost spongy texture inside the sweet, flaky outer crust. the frosting was a little too sweet, but i still ate the whole thing and enjoyed it. i would like to try maple and plain next time. the blue berry was a cake doughnut, that was moist with a light glaze. i really enjoyed their pastries and look forwarded to visiting again next time we come to greensboro.

saw on urban spoon while on a road trip, stopped in on a whim, f&%$ng awesome stuff. looked a little iffy, we to the randleman location, but the pastries are divine!!!

if you’re in greensboro, near g’boro, or heading through g’town anytime soon you need to head over to donut world immediately. its easily the best donut shop within hours of the queen city.

breakfast!. i love dense, cake donuts. i grew up on cake donuts (not yeast) and donut world is super convenient for me and has an excellent variety

delicious donuts. this place offers a wide variety of donuts that all have their own unique combinations of flavors and styles. i come here a few times a month for a wide variety of donuts. each time i go i order something different. i've tried the classic glazed donut, traditional cake donut, and some of the more adventurous donuts such as the maple bacon bar and the apple fritter. pair any of these donuts with a cup of black coffer for dipping them in and then drink the coffee when you're finished eating and its a recipe for a perfect meal. i would recommend this place to anyone who believes "krispy kreme" or "dunkin donuts" are still the best donuts in town.

apple fritter king! excellent!. no body makes an apple fritter like these folks! i want to live here and eat until i blow up. fabulous! i'm going to try that maple bacon item that someone mentioned below. come hungry and order more than you need because you are going to eat half of what you order before you get home!

amazing!. first off, this is the only place in town that understands how to make a decent cake donut. secondly, they have a double-size donut thats the yeast-style base (think krispy kreme without the glaze) covered in maple frosting and big, real chunks of chewy bacon. its bacon. on a donut. a maple frosted donut. worth. every. calorie. prices are about on par, try their old fashioned, its hands down one of the most perfect cake donuts i've had south of maryland.

great donuts. donut world is great! makes krispykreme look bad. flavor, service, value. we prefer donut world over any other. great job!
