donair dude

i ordered a chicken grilled pita donair which was then made to order. he asked a series of questions as he built the pita donair.

although they give smaller portions, it’s still a fairly satisfying way to cram a mini-football sized amount of food into your gullet!

good donair, bad service. i used to go in here twice a week until recently. the last 2 times they screwed up my order and it was the same girl both times. if you go there, avoid the short girl with the curly brown hair and glasses. i'm not sure if she can't understand english or what but i order the most basic donair and she somehow has managed to mess up both times.

...could be that my hopes for this place was a little high, but i would give this place a 3/5 in terms for taste since i did find that the meet was a little dry and a little too salty (i ordered the beef rice bowl), but not the point that it was bad. i am very tempted to give this place an extra point for its cleanliness though...

huge, delicious, friendly staff. this is how you run a business. friendly staff, huge portions, delicious donairs, affordable price.
absolutely no fuss about how much you put in the donair, these guys are unbelievable.

not only do i go here myself every time i come downtown, i personally have told over 10-15 people about the place and they have nothing but good things to say about it.

don't change your business model guys, and pretty soon you'll have places all over the lower mainland.

donair dude on granville street is cranking out some amazing donairs. i can’t believe it took me so long to come here. koreangirl and i were looking for some cheap lunch to fill our bellies and stumbled upon donair dude. we are so glad we did because it might just be one of the better donair places in town. what caught my eye was the lunch special. a pita donair with a can of pop for $5.99. it’s only available from 11am to 3pm. good deal if you want a filling lunch for under $10. you pay for your item first, and you choose the ingredients you want in your donair. everything looked fresh. chicken pita donair lunch combo ($5.99) is huge. its also quite heavy too! i was very impressed. it is also carefully grilled so the donair does not fall apart. good execution. inside, it is overflowing with vegetables and meat. it tasted really good too. chicken rice plate ($9.99) has 2 falafels, tabouleh salad, a grilled pita, tzatziki, rice and a bunch of chicken. \ they give you a lot and they don’

healthy, fresh, fast, friendly. for under $10 i get a full heap of fresh veggies and protein, a middle eastern kick of sauces and tabouli and always friendly staff.

make sure to get them to squeeze lemon and pour a little olive oil before wrapping it up!

went here last night absolutely plastered out of my mind, i mean i was hammered. i had been drinking for a solid 10 hours and was poleaxed. i stumbled into donair dude and was greated by 'the dudes' with a sense accomplishment, like they were proud at how drunk i was and that they knew i needed this food more than anything in the world. i was like a kid in a candy shop 'give me one with everything' i yelled in the guys face and boy, did he ever! this thing was literally the size of a bowling ball. i handed him my wallet and told him to take what he needed, i assumed that with the size of this thing it was going to be about $30 but he took a $10 and proceeded to give me like $2.50 change which i demanded that he keep as the transaction was wasting precious donair eating time. as soon as i got out the store i opened her up. everything started to go in slow motion. that magic moment while your lips are close to mine started playing from somewhere and i absolutely slammed my face into it and growled out as much of a mouthful as i could, it was so moist and tasty i could feel the blood swelling in my loins.... i held the donair above my head and announced to everyone on granville st. that 'i proclaim this donair to be the best thing ever!'. i walked home eating this thing for 10 blocks with a massive erection. it was so good. definitely getting two next time, one for the walk and one for home... ;)

pretty awesome donairs. the largest donair i have ever had by far and it tasted pretty great too. lots of topping and sauce selection. friendly staff.

this place keeps getting better. whoever heard of fast food with amazing service? they bring your food to you, come over and ask you how everything is tasting and to see if you need anything. you never see this type of service at a restaurant that serves meals under $10. they are friendly and genuinly concerned. the store owner over heard that m girlfriend was cold so he went over and closed the door for her to be more comfortable. they prepare your food exactly how you want it. they are the opposite of stingy. they load up your order with a mountain of meat and as much veggies, sides, spreads, and sauces as you like. they fill your to go box with as much food as they can possibly fit in it. and then they try to put more. i always recommend donair dude and all my family/friends love it.

i love you. i'e been to over 300 restaurants in this city and donair dude is still my favourite. i was skeptical of the new location. i went in. the space was bigger and most importantly the food was bigger. i was amazed. i didn't think anything could beat donair dude on davie. it had to be another donair dude. i love these guys.
