bad hostesses and management cannot be overcome, no matter how good the food and servers...

the minimum wait time quoted will always be 1 hour 15 minutes.

it's usually longer. and don't bother trying to eat here with more than four people. they are hopelessly unaccommodating. we (party of six) were ready for an hour and fifteen minute wait, no worries, had apps and cocktails... (here's where i will now strongly caution anyone to stay away from domu.) we were treated rudely and most unprofessionally by the mod and hostesses, told we were getting a certain table repeatedly, then --they bait and switched us for a bar top table and gave our table to a group that had come in after us.... after a two hour wait! we arrived at 7:00pm and were eventually seated, after 9:00 pm.) most disappointing.

the manager on duty and hostesses were insanely rude and inappropriate in their actions and treatment of us. after having been there dozens of times in the past, i will, sadly, never go there again.

orlando is absolutely filled with amazing restaurants, i no longer consider domu to be on that list --the food and service, while great, will never make up for incompetence, lack of professionalism and grievous lack of courtesy. i have never been more appalled, and we will never come back.

try mamak or hawker, or black rooster, or pizza bruno, or white wolf, or saigon noodle & bistro!

very good ramen. the egg bao was also very good. quick and friendly service. inexpensive food for the quality that you get. another good addition to the local food scene.

my wife and i went here last night for valentine’s day. we arrived at 5:25pm. the restaurant opens at 5:30pm. we were told that we had and 1 1/2 hour wait. it ended up being about 100 minutes. that was crazy and extremely long.

now on to the food. we had two appetizers the domu wings and the tako. the wings were probably the best wings i have ever had. a sweet spicy sauce and extremely crispy. the tako is a calamari dish i loved it but my wife didn’t. she also is not huge on calamari.

we got the richie rich and the tokyo as our ramen meals. i love the pork in the richie rich but did not like the broth it was to garlicky. the tokyo was amazing the broth was wonderful. i would absolutely get the tokyo again.

all in all my wife would not go back if i don’t force her. she simple is not in to new food and restaurants but i would in a heartbeat and will.

first i have to mention about there friendly staff... they were so helpful in suggesting us the correct food. the ambience is amazing with a great music which makes a perfect combo. now let’s talk about food. we ordered an appetiser and then main course which was ramen (they specialise in ramen) i must admit that they were just amazing . they were correctly spiced as per we prefer our food. great place to hangout for a couple of drinks and some amazing ramen.
would definitely visit this place again

when you wait 75 minutes for soup you know it’s legit af! don’t worry, you can sit at the bar and have drinks and apps while you wait! try a cocktail specialty crafted and served in a skull!
