dockyard no. 8

love the dockyard so much. the food is amazing, the staff is really friendly and the set up of the restaurant itself is really nice and casual. they have an enclosed conservatory style area out the front which feels like you are outside but it's nice and warm. i've tried be eggs benedict, open ham hock sambo, breakfast salad and a number of their soups of the day. everything i've ever gotten i've been happy with the food is delicious and their soups are always a little bit different to the normal standard soups you would get in other places. my favourite being an almond and broccoli one i had last year at some stage it was amazing.
they do a bring your own wine night on a thursday night which i haven't been to yet but the menu looks great and i've heard good things so will definitely be trying it out for summer.
only thing i would say is that the service can be a little slow sometimes but it's understandable but it's never been too excessive

loved this little spot. came here this evening for dinner.
my reason for not giving the 5 is i didn't like the sauce on the wings was expecting the buffalo flavor.
but my glass of house sauvignon was lovely.
another little touch i love in restaurants is when they add mint leaves to the water, nice and refreshing.
the chicken burger was yum and the mussels and the sauce with it was gorgeous.

have visited dockyard for breakfast, lunch and dinner. food is good, not excellent, but tasty. dy8 sambo good, ham hock benedict for breakfast tasty and the brownie is delish! they generally have a special of the week which is good as a bit of variety, they had a coconut like curry which was delish. service slow but staff lovely. byow nights good fun! and nice cosy setting despite feeling like you're in a tent.

i went here with my friend tara for the first time a few weeks ago, i was really looking forward to it as i had heard really good things and the pictures they put up on their page look amazing! i really enjoyed the food here i got a sandwich off the specials board and it was gorgeous. really want to go back to try the breakfast soon !!

enjoyed a delicious lunch here. it's slightly off the beaten track but well worth a visit. they have fresh, homemade, tasty food with a weekend. menu of half lunch and half brunch to please all. i tried their soup which was an unusual flavour of parsnip, lentil and apple and it was delicious. i also tried the dv8 sambo. overall really nice but i wouldn't be the biggest fan of the coffee, even though it's local. check this place out for lunch, brunch of dinner if you are in bray, plus it's byob dinner.
