i got the sonoran hotdog, al pastor taco; coconut rice, and creamy beans. it was good, but i probably wouldn't go back. their al pastor taco was my favorite out of everything--alone i'd give that 4.5 stars!

diego pops is a flashy, funky bar + restaurant with an outdoor bar where we had a few drinks.the first of which was a watermelon lime snow cone margarita: watermelon lime don julio blanco, watermelon. liqueur, triple sec, muddled. watermelon, housemade. sweet and sour, limei spent most of the time trying not to let it melt over the edges and man, it was sticky. but fun!look how cute our drinks went together. some got some coconut drinks!round two was a prickly pear margarita - which is a ~ thing ~ here. and it's delicious.and then i had the best queso of my life. no joke! there was corn in it, which made it a bit sweet. so delish.

first time here. went with tacos. my favorite were the green chili chicken recommended to me by our server in a crunchy shell. very flavorful and moist. love the laid back atmosphere. will try some new items next time around!

diego pops, is a modern tequila and taco lounge/ restaurant! i love it! it's not what you think it is coming from the outside but everything about the logo and what they are about is true! neon, modern edgy and of course the decor inside is what made me love it more! the service was wonderful not too rushed and we probably came at the wrong time but that didn't stop me. i've been hearing about the nachos, it's not just any nachos it's the brussels sprout nachos! from the flavor to the cheese and to the ingredients everything is so outstanding in flavor! you see i never had a brussels sprout but it's kinda like a more flavorful broccoli! i give it 2 thumbs up! they also have different sauces from chipotle mayo to a serrano ranch! tacos are outstanding but it's based on one, there's so much more j want to try! cocktails and the specialty drinks are wonderful and different! must try the coconut drink it comes in vodka and tequila! so if you are in the scottsdale area give it a try stop by! by yourself or with you or friends!

was not a huge fan of the oxacan sunrise drink... it was kinda bitter. got the brussel sprout nachoes which were delicious. their tacos are their namesake but unfortunately, the baitsm nachos were so large that we didn't have any. next time! looking forward to coming back to try more on the menu.

i went here for my birthday with a group of 20 people and i couldn't of had a better time. they were super accommodating to a large group especially for not being that large of a restaurant. for my birthday i wanted a drink in a fresh coconut and that's why i choose diego pops. they had a tequila version and a vodka version, which is great for me because i usually only drink vodka. the tacos were perfect! i had fish and shrimp. it was the perfect amount, not too small or too big, plus so fresh and perfectly priced! i loved the ambiance of the restaurant too. and great location!

this place gets rating points for decor alone -- it's beautiful! the food and margaritas are also great, but the service leaves a little to be desired. it's been slow in my experience, and on a recent work lunch, the timing of the food was pretty poor. overall, however, i do enjoy diego pops but will probably visit on days when i have plenty of time to enjoy the food and libations.

the food was good here, but the service was pretty bad. i absolutely loved the decor + atmosphere, and will probably come back to take photos, but that will probably be the last time. they were understaffed and made some mistakes with our food and receipts.

good and almost great. chips, salsa and guac were all awesome. the crispy cod taco was great and the plantain taco's were pretty good. my only complaint was the sweet corn + avocado ceasar was weak on toppings - only trace amounts of corn and cotija, no croutons to be found and barely any dressing. i also would also like more agua fresca options (beside hibiscus) and more non ice cream desserts. i'll be back to try the nachos and a different salad.

this eclectic and gussied up taco stand does just enough to distract your attention from the famed barrio queen around the block. while not as authentic it offers a more gringo flavored menu full of flavor.  a particular nod to their various salsas. the 'must try'- the brussels sprout nachos
