desi fusion restaurant

one of my friends hosted his kid's bday party here, the staff ensured that all arrangements were smooth and the party was a success. food and ambience is good with valet service becomes a good party spot. great thanks and appreciation specially to mr ramesh and his team who ensured every thing was smooth and coordinated well.

we had a big family lunch and just wanted to say that the food was great and everybody had a great time. the restaurant has a trained team led by mr. ramesh and we enjoyed a pleasant hospitality from them. i am looking forward to coming back here for future events! :)

a very good restaurant. ordered from the chinese menu. schezwan fried rice, dragon chicken and american chopsuey. taste was good. staff is friendly. ambience is nice and calm. rates are affordable.

i was fortunate to taste the
iftar buffet at desi fusion restaurant and i must say my experience was very enchanting.. the food there was awesome and so was the service. ms francelle specially was very courteous and helpful. the tea there specially was outstanding no doubt about it. the name desi fusion speaks for itself it's a matter of real pride for indian community to have such a restaurant right in the heart of doha.

on 11th may 2018 i had a farewell party for my two colleagues. we were almost 40 to 45 personnel. the hotel management (especially mr.habib, miss mahjabeen and mr.ramesh along with his team) arranged the party in a very befitting and professional manner. my all colleagues too much enjoyed the evening. i think this is a great venue for any specific function and i shall counsel the people to give your event a special charm by choosing the desi fusion restaurant. from me and my all colleagues thank you miss mahjabeen sheikh, mr habib and mr.ramesh. well done and keep it up....... alam

we had a birthday party on 4th may at the banquet hall. the service was excellent & the food was awesome. we thank ms sheikh & mr jitu for their hospitality & the chef & his team for their yummy food. we certainly recommend this venue for parties & get together.....

ambience is good. staff is very polite. love the kids play area. place is a bit stuffy and noisy. drinks extra sweet! not on my fav list of indian restaurants.

our experience during iftar was wonderful. the quality of food as well as the quantity was excellent.the team along with mr ramesh offered us great hospitality.we would highly recommend this place specially for iftar.

now heading back to zomato reviews! don't get me wrong, i have spent my initial foodie days on zomato and from there, i have met lots and lots of people! 

i was invited to this not so small spot, more like a hidden gem! this is actually my second time on this place, the first one was like 2016, and i was wondering if it has the same name. anyway, now on to the review. the place was cozy, albeit with an 'old place' kind of feel, probably because of age of the structure it was in. food was good, not great (salty for my liking, but as with most indian dishes i have, i love the spice!) service was one of the best i had! the captain was more than willing, sometimes to the point of uncomfortably in your face but in a nice professional way. do not have photos with me this time since i was focused on the meeting part.

overall, a good job by the staff and crew!

ambience is good. we were provided with excellent services by ramesh and his team. food taste - dinner buffet was satisfying. good place for family gatherings and get togethers!

recommended for parties, get together and also for spcl occasions.
parking is very hard to get .
mr ramesh - manager is so good. staff is not attentive. i found there was lack of communication between staff. they even dont know what item they had on menu and what not.
most horrible thing that happened when the counter cashier (philipino) scolded restaurant manager infront of all customers. seiously who do like that. 🤷‍♀️

went there for the iftaar buffet without much expectation. but i was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. very unique decor and ambience. the service was very friendly and prompt. the food was very delicious a good variety of dishes served for that price (75 qar). a special mention to mr. amjad who took really good care of us. highly recommended for an indian iftaar experience!

had been there for iftar. the supervisor and his team were charged to provide any assistance required. commitment to service.

food is average. no worries on taste..
however a few modifications can better the products.
- boneless chicken to be used for butter chicken
- food warmers for kababs
- samosa chat should be kept warm if served ready
- try and keep inhouse gulab jamuns than using ready mix packets. can help reduce corn flour in sugar syrup.
- little softer naan breads.

ginger tea and ambience was good....
overall a good one time experience!

first thing you notice while you enter is beautifully set up ambience with indian decor and accessories touching various parts of indian regions.
opted for iftar buffet (qar59)
i regret not to have taken pictures as i was pretty hungry 😋. buffet was very well laid and had good options however i will still prefer breads and kebabs to be served on table and not in buffet as it looses its quality.
overall almost all the dishes were delicious specially butter chicken, daal makhani and gulab jamun to name few.
staff was very friendly, attentive and accommodating.
full marks for value for money.
