super helpful & friendly. i've been wanting to check this place out, and finally made it in last friday. i admittedly do not know too much about how to take care of my bike, so went not really knowing what i was talking about. my friend had suggested it looked like i needed my wheels trued, so that's what i said. peter, the one who ended up with my clueless self, was super helpful. he saw me right away, even though i was a walk-in and he had numerous other bikes he was working on. he told me it wouldn't be worth the money to get it trued yet, as it wasn't too bad. i mentioned that something was recently making it difficult to ride, and screechy. he noticed my pedal bearings were completely worn. he found an extra set of pedals in the back and replaced them for me for free. my bicycle is now running nice and smooth like it used to! some places, whether bike shops, car shops, etc, may try to screw over us unknowing individuals, so it's nice knowing i can go here to get my questions answered honestly.
i didn't have time for a beer or coffee this time, but will definitely be going back to do so!
