delia's pizzeria and grille

awesome!!!!!. went to the new delia's in alexandria and was wowed by everything. they told me to go check out the breakfast that springfield serves on the weekends. i got the western omelette, my fiancee actually got lunch ( pizza ).
everything was awesome. i met the owner and he greeted and talked to us. kudos to the entire delia's family

spent the night in the area looked up pizzeria and this showed up on urban spoon. went there for pizza and it was probably one of the best pizzas i've had ever. i would highly recommended ice pizza place to eat and took my wife and two kids. highly recommend, i will when i visit next time.

i'm moving out of the area soon, and i'm going to miss delia's food so much. everything i've gotten from this place has been delicious. definitely eating here every time i come back to visit.

i took my dad here on a recommendation from a friend. after we were seated, it took over 10 minutes before someone even came by to ask us if we wanted something to drink. while they were taking our drink and appetizer order, we felt rushed to place our main order at the same time .

while we were waiting, it was encouraging to see them put leftovers in the boxes for the patrons. of course, when it came our time to leave, they gave us the boxes and we had to do it ourselves

after dinner arrived and we were eating, another couple came in, and our server served them as well. what was interesting was that he told them the specials before they ordered. we did not know they had specials, and were not offered any before ordering.

the menus were laminated paper that was coming apart and seemed pretty dirty as well.

the food was not bad, but seemed mostly canned sauce with very little effort to make it taste italian. it also came out as we were finishing up salads and appetizers, so decent marks there.

this was a friday night, but we were there before it was really busy. the impression i got, was that if you frequented a lot and they knew you, you received excellent service. if you were someone trying it for the first time, you were treated as an outsider and it seems like you are bothering them.

i would not recommend this to anyone who wanted to get a good italian or mediterranean type of dinner. maybe next time i'll try the pizza, but not sure i would go back after the previous experience.

avoid.... do not go here... bad food and worse customer service. would not honor special until we argued with the owner. mean and rude owner. will not go back and would suggest you do the same.

great staff, great food!. i had lunch here today, and it was one of my favorite dining experiences in a long time! the staff were so friendly, checked on me frequently, gave me recommendations on the menu, and even brought me a complimentary tzatziki and pita appetizer since it was my first time eating at delia's. from the peruvian part of the menu i ordered the chicharron con yucca (marinated pork and fried yucca) to eat and chica morada to drink. everything was so good!! the flavors on the pork were just wonderful, and fresh pita and tzatziki is hard to beat. i would highly recommend delia's.

restaurant used to be good a few years back. went in recently and was very disappointed. the food quality dropped dramatically. chef must have left. service was god awful. rude host & slow food time. owners very abusive to staff. do not go

wow! what a good find! the pizza knuckles (sounds weird) are amazing! great prices, great flavor and portions. even when they got my meal wrong (i ordered the white pizza and got regular red sauce pizza) they made a new pizza and it tasted amazing! it was very loud so maybe the waitress didn't hear it correctly but no big deal! the cannolis are very yummy (not as good as mike's in boston but few things are!)

my favorite place of all time. we used to eat here every week when we lived in va. the greek salad is to die for and the italian dishes are the best. ask to have kathy as your waitress.

love delia’s pizza and salad!. love delia’s pizza and salads. thus far everything that i have had has been good (pizza, tzatziki, salads). the salads are huge with fresh quality ingredients. on the downside, the gentleman who answers the phone for delivery orders has some difficulty with english which has resulted in late delivery and cold pizza.

wonderful!!! traditional family restaurant. had the tuscan caprese flatbread and it was fresh and awesome(added the chicken). wait staff was great. we will definitely be back!!!

it's the 'family' restaurant of springfield!. my wife and i are proud to have such an excellent family-owned and run 'family' restaurant in springfield! we've been dining here for years, and it is consistent, delish, reasonably priced and the attention is always terrific. amazingly, nothing we've tried from their extensive menu falls short. what's even more amazing is that the greek-american owners have mastered 3 incredible traditions - greek, italian and peruvian! we recently walked in after a short hiatus and found they had remodelled - wow! it's more terrific than ever - see the pics. from the gyros and souvlaki, to their pizza's, or ziti, or peruvian chicken, and yuca, it's all great. of the handful of family-owned local restaurants in springfield, this eatery, by far, hands-down, is the best, most enjoyable, not to mention tasty place in our town. come to think of it, there are few places in norhern virginia that can compete! come here and you'll leave a 'regular'.

love this place. great food, great service, large portions and awesome price for what you get. probably my favorite restaurant in the springfield area. you have to try it. i love the pollo saltado...it's excellent.

we will be back for sure. we came in for lunch and sat down right away. waitress was timely and very attentive. my husband & i split the luncheon caprese flatbread and left very satisfied. food was fresh and generously proportioned. great place

good food wife got the peruvian chicken with black beans and platain with yucca and kids and i shared a pizza good food great atomosphere
