debbie's delights

i went to this place when it first opened since my mother lives in the neighborhood and it was not bad at all not great but not bad. the prices were reasonable for the food and location and it was convenient. the quality has steadily declined with an increase in prices. my 12 year old nephew can cook better. the french toast, my absolute favorite breakfast food, was covered in egg and made with what looked like bunny bread instead of texas toast. there is a minimum of seasoning and effort. the wait for an egg sandwich with no one in the restaurant is likely to take over an hour. that is ridiculous if people think this is good food they need to seriously reevaluate what they eat. each time i drive by this restaurant i point out to everyone look its debbie's disgusting. it is horrible.

alright. food was good! the service could have been better. they could also practice professionalism, i know i look young but please talk with sense and respect me as a customer.

the food is delicious. went there with my mom ordered the ribeye steak and shrimp it was soooo good! i highly recommend! very reasonable prices and the quantity is also very good, it's def a hidden gem! will be back soon!

oh how i love debbies delights. debbies delights food truck is coming out soon i am going to be chasing that truck even if it is hot out side it worth it those hot wings are delicious if i had to chose between a fancy restaurant and debbies delights i would chose debbies delights best food ever they have everything there cakes, ice-cream, brownies, everything .

lover of debbies (aleya). i love debbies delights they have the best soul food they have macoroni,greens,corn bread,chicken,yams, everthing and any other day the same customers from sunday come the next day after that i sware i see the same customers come there so if yall hungry come on down to debbies garuntee its good food and if you dont like it then you nedd to go to the emergency room and get your taste buds checked cause obviously they got to be messed up foreal cause debbies they be smahing man and they make cakes birthday cake christmas cake any cake you can think of they make the best cookies,cakes,brownies man im at the resturant now come on down to debbies (they sell ice ceream to) go to debbies right now remember you dont like go fet your taste buds checked i love debbies delights i love jermin choclate cake especially debbies

debbies delicous. i honestly believe debbies is good im sure kim isnt doing anything but hatinq on debbies good service . ms debbie i wouldnt worry about your dislikes if i where you because there are many out there that loves your foofd

debbie's delight (what a delight). i'm contantly on the go and while on the go and craving a homecooked meal i stop by debbie's delight. the first time i ever had debbie's delight i had the french toast (evenly seasoned with cinnamon made w/ texas toast), turkey sausage, country smothered potatoes and scrambled cheese eggs cooked exactly to specification omg! it was quite delightful. not to mention, they give you more than enough food, and the prices are very reasonable.
the second time i had the turkey burger and fries and i was pleased just the same; the turkey burger was so flavorful and and the food was freshly cooked which is a plus. cant stand the burger joints that you can drive thru get your food in less than 5 minutes that's been sitting under the heater lamp all day long.
there are so many selections on the menu, so everytime i go, i try a new entree and i'm always delighted. the servings are always plentiful and the food is always fresh and tasty. the tilapia - 'delight'ful and delicious my mom tasted it and immediately cut off a piece for me to try, and i fell in love with it. oh, and i couldnt imagine leaving the resturaunt without grabbing a fresh slice of pie or cake.
i read the previous comment and unfortunately with so many haters in the city of saint louis; and with such easy accessiblity to the world wide web; simple attempts of slander and character defimation are easy as the click of a button. however, i definitely suggest you try it for yourself and experience the delight.

this place is great!. this past weekend feb 20, 2011 some of my friends came in from chicago and we were looking for breakfast food sunday morning, (for all that don't already know, goody goody doesn't open). so i called a friend of mine who told me about debbie's, very skeptical about this place because first of all i never heard of it and i wanted them to be pleased with the food. when we walked in it was someone there that i knew and he is a picky eater so i felt a little bit better. i proceeded to look around and noticed a danger men cooking sign so at this point i am hoping that this will not be a complete disaster :-). we ordered our food, went on a mini tour of the quaint building then sat at the circle table in front of the tv and watched girlfriends while the gentlemen in the kitchen took care of their business! they did just that. i was in aaaawwww at the presentation of (the main street), chicken, waffle, eggs and fried potatoes, and they got turkey burgers... i took a picture of it however i can't upload it now. but to make my long story short i had the best breakfast in town from debbie's delights. if you have never been make sure you go! they have cake as well. i got a slice of red velvet to go because i didn't have room for it. (that's how you get chubby)
