glass in pizza. found glass shard in pizza. big enough piece for me to bite down and get a rude awakening while eating a slice of pizza. have not been able to get in touch with owner, staff told me they would give a "free pizza". who wants a free pizza from an establishment that had glass in their food. beyond that the pizza has always been average, great toppings but always cooked too long. crust comes out black, burnt and too hard. ruins the flavor of the pizza.

excellent food and atmosphere! it looks like a little hole in the wall restaurant but it's great! i would definitely recommend if your looking for a good pizza!

this is and has been our favorite pizza! we get it delivered and it’s always hot and fresh! they use quality ingredients and the crust is thin and crispy! you can order online or by calling. we have never waited more than thirty minutes for our pie to arrive even though they say it will be an hour.

great pie, salads, and sandwiches. we love this place! awesome pizza with all the trimmings. love the jersey devil sub and caprese salad. they alway deliver on time and are friendly.

ordered this in and was really surprised at just how good it was.  the hotel concierge suggested it as a favourite place of theirs.  the crust was super thin and the ingredients were very fresh tasting.  i was a little disappointed at the size of the pizza i ordered, considering the price, but the taste was worth it. i had it delivered to my room and it arrived in less time than they said it would.

great pizza pie. the sauce and toppings were very fresh. had it delivered and showed up super fast. would recommend it for anyone wanting good food and fast delivery.

awesome margarita pizza. great pizza great atmosphere....can't ask for much more. i had the margarita with juicy fresh tomatoes and excellent mozzarella. even the next day cold outta the fridge it was way better than average. good job with great ingredients.

best pizza in charleston. i've lived in charleston for years and i've eaten at a ton of the downtown restaurants. i'll tell you the truth, even though it isn't in a great location and it isn't beautiful inside, this is absolutely the best tasting pizza in downtown charleston. if the food matters more to you than the wall art, try it.

we were looking for somewhere to eat on christmas eve not too forma. and d'allesandro's was open. what a find. we had a wonderful time visiting with the owners and their families, but the highlight was the pizza! thin crisp crust that was totally delicious. fresh toppings of every sort (even vegan cheese for my wife). we don't live in charleston, but when every visit from now on will include a visit to d'allesandro's pizza.

gotten a few of their pizzas and they were all real good but the "get gnarly" pizza is just incrediable. probably will be the only thing i get from there because how good it is. ran by hipsters...

amazing food, everything is awesome and the people who work there are just down right delightful especially lily and david. i love the lunch specials, they are more than fair and the ingredients are super fresh and unique, my favorite lunch is a beet, goat cheese and sun dried tomatoe calzone minus the ricotta, so freaking good!

fantastic experience. on my first visit to charleston, my best friend took me to all her favorite local places, and i loved my lunch at d'allesandro's. we went on a saturday afternoon, and i had the lunch special of a 10-inch specialty pizza (chicken, pesto and red peppers - yum!), a salad and a drink. the bill was less than $10 - i couldn't believe what a great value it was. this is exactly the kind of place i like to go when i travel, but i definitely needed a local to point me in the right direction to find it.
