interesting wings - terrible ventilation. and interesting and massive selection of wings that should satisfy any palate - but... order your food to go and spend as little time in this place as possible. the worst ventilation i have ever experienced in any restaurant - anywhere. it's three hours later and i am still infused with the smoke from their fryers.
oh, and seeing the owner come out and greet customers with sweat rolling off of his bald head was anything but appetizing. he would be well advised to stay in the back (and work on the exhaust fan).

those fries are the definition of a foodgasm in every bite, and if you want the best fries of your life, try d's (pun intended)

i have never left a review for any establishment but this place has me stumped and wishing i had never tried it.
from start to finish. my husband and i ordered for a pick up, we got told to hold on all three phone calls we had to make. first we ordered and the lady got the price wrong, so we had to call back to find out why it was so high, well the gentleman fixed it and said she had charged us extra-extra for the blue cheese dressing ($5). we got our order of 5 different sets of wings, we did get what we ordered for in wings but we didn't get the blue cheese dressing we where originally charged double for (there was the third phone call). a lot of the wings had freezer burn on them that was very visible on the lighter wings and very tasteable, they were so over cooked that even the chicken inside was crunchy. they are so small that they make pizza hut's wings look and taste amazing (i am not joking at all please see picture). for $1 and over per wing, this was disgraceful and disgusting. $50 bucks down the drain and i hope others don't make the same mistake we did. when you pride yourself on your wings please do a better job... if i could leave a negative rating this would be a - 10

the mushroom & swiss burger is exceptional, but did not outshine the eclectic superior flavors of their wings. by far the best burger and wing joint in the twin cities.

have been back every week since our first visit. i swear the wings taste better each time we go! still so many to try. some our favorites are buffalo, buffalo bill, ironman, chipotle bbq and of course black widow!! you won't be disappointed. go!

nice outlet... wings were just out of the world! staff, ambience and overall experience was decent.

best wings in town. out of 100 plus dining experiences, i've had one marginal. i recommend this place all the time. the variety of wings is amazing. things that shouldn't be on wings that are taste amazing. one thing to note. they have been in their new place almost 7 months or so. they 10x their size and staff. they had some long wait times but in my eyes great food is worth the wait.

great service, they wing flavors are endless. there is definitely a flavor for everyone. the wings were a little over done for my liking but they still tasted great. a little too much seasoning on the fries. the location has moved from what is listed on here.

d-spot gets an a for flavor, c- for chicken and an f for speed. it took about an hour for our order to arrive. grilling the wings vs. frying is great, but they need to marinade them, (or longer) to prevent the chicken from drying out. i was a head chef at supper club when i was 17 and cooked my way through college--and have never seen a more disorganized line ever--cooking one order at a time is not going to get it done. the serve yourself concept is also over rated--hard to tip for service when i have to get up for my table to buy a $7 beer myself. i was excited to go here--hope they turn it around.

after having been referred to this establishment from a number of people, i'm afraid i can't recommend this place at this time.  the place may get itself in shape after moving into their new place, yet for me, the experience has been completely ruined.  counter staff with little to no training, servers who apparently have better things going on with their phones as opposed to paying attention to the orders being put up by the kitchen, folks waiting over an hour for their orders while obvious friends and vips get orders 10 minutes after ordering....these things do not make a great dining experience for the person walking in off the street.   at one point, there was a lot of yelling coming from the line, and when i turned around to look at what was going on, i see the chef yelling and walking off in a huff, leaving his staff to attempt to manage the chaos caused by the front of house staff.   after an hour and a half of waiting, i got my money back and left, with the excuse given to me that "well, it's a soft opening".   i have been in this business for a long, long time.   soft opens are for the friends, family, and close business associates of the restaurateur and their staff so they can shake the place down and iron out as many bugs as possible before opening to the public.  you don't advertise a soft open on social media.  once you advertise to the public, you're open.  simple as that.   i'm sure the wings are great, yet i'd wait until they can get their act together, and perhaps you can tell me if they're any good, 'cause i don't think i'm going to slog through another 30 minute drive to have another horrible experience.

i had the opportunity to meet garth brooks at an area dance hall when he was just starting his career. he shook hands and chatted with everyone in line waiting to meet him. he was still shaking hands with new fans at 4am. he got it. everyone knows someone. make them feel special and they will do your marketing for you. darin at the d-spot also understands this. my first visit was saturday at 8pm. located in a strip mall with the feel of a worn vfw hall. when entering you are immediately asked if to go or dining in. we were also informed there were only sixty wings remaining. someone had just ordered 200. wings are 6/$7 or 12/$12. we decided to get wings to go. six of the peanut butter/jelly and six ranch buffalo. if they run out of wings, they must be fresh. during our wait we were asked multiple times what our pickup order number was. very friendly. at one point i asked the man at the register if he knew of a nearby liquor store. beer goes good with wings. he smiled and waved me outside. he pointed directions to three options depending on what i needed. then a strong hand shake thanking me for stopping in. he was genuine. he was real. he was darin the owner. as for the wings. the peanut butter and jelly tasted like thai cuisine. the ranch buffalo were spicy but good. i was more impressed with darin than the wings. my buddy thought they were amazing. as we were leaving darin thanked us again and was excited about his next location at bergen plaza in oakdale. seating 200 and over 300 different wing flavors. we will check it out. d-spot will continue to do great business in any location as long as darin is at the helm.

i did not know wings could be so thick and have so much flavor! the sauces were delicious, and formed a thick coating over the wings- unlike other places where the wings are just slathered with sauces. i tried the spiciest wings in the regular menu, and i was very satisfied. it was a filling meal, though a little expensive for what i was getting.

the atmosphere was very unique, and i will be going back to see what sort of heat i can handle!

great wings. i noticed some slow service complaints on here, those who complain need to realize that there place is small & that they are also dealing with many to go orders because the wings are so delicious!

love this place! yes they p.... love this place!
yes they play death metal. yes its loud!
yes the place has hand painted murals on the walls depicting all kinds of creepy monsters and such.
yes the tables are topped with rough-hewn faux stone.
fortunately for me and mine, we love it all!! weve always had great service here. even had the mgr stop at our table and chat about the place. i can understand being set back a bit if you were expecting perkins i guess and walked in. the wings totally rock and theres like 100 flavors! i say, bring it on, sit back and try a different atmosphere

this is a must go!!. i loved everything about this place. for was great and service was awesome!!! you need to try these wings.
