great for brunch. build your own bloody mary bar / mimosa bar. try the braveheart! amazing.

bad service!. when there on may 11 waited 45 min for table they were bury ok! seated finally then no waiter waited asked another waiter could we order? she said ok i'll gett someone . no one came .we were very disappointed with service busy or not the table next to us placed an order and there we sat waiting. you guys let the ball down on this one.we left and went to another restaurant wait staff sucks or at least when you are busy cant handle the flow!

the place is typically busy with multiple large party gatherings noted today. the locals say that the bar is the place to visit if there is room. we were delayed about 20 minutes but it was worth it. we had started with two coffee drinks that were excellent and then proceeded with a brunch that was tasty and well done. the breakfast hash that i had is recommended as it blends sw flavors nicely with local mesquite bbq flavors. my wife had the steak salad and noted that it also was flavorful, plentiful, and nicely presented. kitchen and the restaurant looked clean.

the food here was average... where i love the history of the place, i am pretty sure there was dirt still present from the 1920’s. the place was not clean and seating was not comfortable. we were cramped with tables and chairs that looked like they were about to fall apart. so i was not impressed with the maintenance of the place.

ahhhhmaaaazing! just go. i went three times while visiting tucson. i'm a fan for life. i dream about the breakfast and the bloody marys. great eclectic vibe and delish food.

this is the type of experience that i'm looking for every time i get on zomato. my server pointed me in the direction of their braveheart entree, which was good and filling, i was barely able to do any damage to the potatoes on the side which is unusual for me. the location and atmosphere is a huge perk for this brunch spot. it is nestled underneath an old-fashioned hotel and the decor to match the location. very neat place!

rustic. a nice rustic dining area with a good breakfast . the coffee is tasty and their omelletes with your choices of add-ons are great. see you for lunch and dinner sometime.

great place. beautiful cafe in a historical hotel. you pay a little more for an excellent breakfast with great atmosphere. the wait staff was very good.

john dillinger is turning over in his grave. the last time i went to hotel congress, unfortunately i had a bad experience with the creole dish. this time, besides getting potatoes that weren't cooked enough and bacon that was too fatty & greasy, and when you're having trouble just getting a cup of decaf coffee with steamed milk (which was sent back 3 times and still not right, even though i paid for 3 extra espresso shots), you really don't want to complain about the potatoes or the bacon. the omelet, too, was more or less scrambled eggs, with little pieces of bell peppers & chilies, which i paid extra for. don't you just hate miniscule pieces of anything?

the waitress was nice enough but obviously too busy. she may have been the only waitress for both inside and out. if there was another one, i didn't see her. and she couldn't remember to bring me an orange juice. so it wasn't a very good experience. she did refund me on the coffee that i had already got. but with my former experiences at hotel congress, it's always hit or miss on most of the items. i don't think there is enough quality control. the fish & chips i got there once was mostly bread crumbs and little fish inside. i think this was my last visit to hotel congress, unless they do some advertising and say "under new management."

sooooo good!. excellent food & service. ambiance - meh. a bit pricy, but i'd go back for the food in a heartbeat.

pretty good.... i've recently experienced bad service here; apparently on a busy friday night the manager thought it a good idea to change the table numbers around on the wait staff for whatever reason and it did not end up with good results.... but their food is always great and i love the cocktails and wine they offer.

well.... it's hard to wedge into that downtown-under-construction traffic. hard to find parking. the servers are kinda fake-friendly. the food is usually decent. it's just not usually worth the bother though.

always great food and service. last night was no exception, great recommendations from our server that were delicious.

sunday brunch is excellent. we ordered: warm brie sandwich, cast iron baked eggs (x2), huevos rancheros and all were fabulous.

the special limeade was also bueno.

we have known christina perri since she was an undiscovered waitress at montesano bros. the second stop of her nationwide headlining tour was club congress. before her show we tried the cup cafe.

i tried the special pomegranate mojito and it was perhaps the worst drink i have ever experienced.

the thompson automatics (chicken blue cheese egg rolls with celery root salad) was interesting and tasty. nice spicy zing.

before the marianne dissard.... show we visited. all the tables were taken so we were offered a table outside under a heater but it was still too cold to linger for long. we had drinks and fabulous tortilla soup and some great chocolate cake.
