... rich fondue gilding golden soft nuggets we all agreed that rare has a pretzel impressed so much, a similar praise heaped on the house burrata with seasonal accoutrements drizzled with aged balsamic. moving next to things more substantial it was admittedly with some disappointment that neither the $11 french toast nor the $21 ‘worth the wait’ fried chicken proved nearly as memorable as their respective milk jam or biscuit plate-mates, but with the former too bready and the later far from crispy there are simply better versions to be found elsewhere, particularly at such a cost...

good quality and fresh ingredients. i had the cheap house salad and spicy chicken sausage soup. good mix of fresh greens with homemade ranch. soup was extremely spicy (tough for me and unbearable for my husband). my husband had a chicken club sandwich. meat on meat! chicken, ham and bacon on a homemade brioche bun! great homemade fries. excellent beer selection and very knowledgeable server. as delawareans, we were excited to see one of our local breweries, dogfishhead, on tap.

this place is hard to categorize; it describes itself as a ‘rebel child’ that breaks all the rules. the man behind culinary dropout is sam fox, a five-time james beard foundationpyramin semi-finalist for outstanding restaurateur.

its a pub. overpriced cafe food. good for a quick bite before a show but would rather plan out a great restaurant then eat and go.

we were in town for a show at the hard rock, so eating in the hotel was a must. while they have a decent number of choices, after seeing a picture of the pretzel bites & provolone fondue from culinary dropout, i knew where we would be doing our pre-show dining. i can't resist carbs and cheese. why would anybody want to? while that appetizer lured me in, i also saw a pic of their fried chicken with honey biscuit and mashed potatoes. that sealed the deal.

horrible on every level. f.... horrible on every level.
fried chicken was flavorless.
bistro steak was literally cold. colder than room temperature.
we ordered pretzel bites first which my boyfriend didn't like, i did.
the entrees were so bad the pretzels were the only edible food.
sent it back and left on search for better food.
server was distant and didn't pay attention.

this restaurant is interesting. very hipster, which had me worried going in. but, the food was good and there were some unique combinations (take a look at their drink menu). the monkey bread dessert is very good. just like when i was a kid. i'm not sure that i'd choose to eat here again, but it was a good one-time experience.

a welcome step-up from the usual offerings at the hard rock casino. traditional american with a twist, a great beer selection and live music from indie/surf/garage/punk bands on weekends.
