on our way to tampa tonight to see "shrek: the musical" (great show, by the way) and we stopped at cuenellis rotisserie for dinner. the chicken smelled really good on the way in. loren ordered the 1/4 chicken white meat with red beans and a salad and i ordered the 1/4 chicken dark meat with black beans and rice. both were very tasty. the chicken was tender and had plenty of seasoning on it. it also came with two tasty dipping sauces, one a green chimichurri sauce, the other a mustard type sauce. i did think the chicken pieces were a little small, but they made up for it in flavor. we got a couple of cookies for the road. the cookie reminded me of a pecan sandie, but it also had a filling inside that i couldn't identify. it didn't really have a lot of flavor, but it was gooey, almost like a caramel. the cookies were very crumbly, but tasty. total bill was $21 with a drink. cuenellis rotisserie 4801 w hillsborough ave tampa, fl (813) 888-8790

unique and good. wife and i visited cuenelli's last night - she had ceviche and i had bistec a lo pobre (steak). the food was served quickly and was very good. i also tried the chicha, a drink made with blue corn. we saw a family get the chicken - it looked great and we'll be back to try it.

chicken was very good. tried the ceviche and it was ok. not a bad place if you’re craving some pollo a la brasa. place is small and when crowded it can get hot and smokey. service was good. will definitely come back.

a great visit, nice atmosphere and friendly staff, only problem is it is a little understaffed, a customer is not going to get the attention required. a previous pollo loco location revamped.
had the lomo saltado, mediocre at best, enjoyed the cilantro rice instead of white rice that came with it. the commitment to the taste was not there, ambiguous at best. in tampa there are better lomos elsewhere such as gran restaurante chifa gino on armenia, el puerto on 5th ave and machu picchu on hillsborough, a few other examples exist throughout the city.
the rotisserie chicken, i am not a chicken fan mind you, was outstanding, great taste and charred to perfection. i had a half a chicken and that was not enough.
will return when i am with someone that likes chickens.

good food bad service. i was looking for some peruvian food since i had try many places in florida but i never been in this one so i try it as i walk in i notice that the smell of the chicken was on point so i try it and it was real good everything tasted real good i order the chicken and it was on my table in mins i was like wow this was fast the only thing that i didnt like about this place was the service i notice that once they gave you the plate the waitress was gone and she didnt even bother to ask me if a need it something else as i was eating i notice a older person and her gran daughter walkin the waitress got them water but then as i was eating i notice that the waitress was no where to be found as the lady waited over 15 min she got tired of waiting and they walk off the funny thing is that the owner was there right behind my table and she was talking to this other people behind me she spend over 30 min talking to them but she didnt even bother to see if the other people need it something else i was just thinking like wow she just there running her mouth and she didnt even notice the other costumers in the restaurant with that been said i would try it one more time just cause of the food but if this bad service keep happening that be the last time i will show up in that place

i love the food but what i didn't like was that even though i gave the waitress a tip she lied and had her co worker come up to me and ask why i didn't give any tips. when i told her that she lied she says ok. to then later before we left said out loud thank you for coming.not professional at all thought in the beginning that i will come back definitely changed my mind

mrs.halluska. i fell in love with the place, the food was exquisite,, and the service more than great. the lady came four times to ask if we needed anything, and whatever we asked, came very fast. the seviche was very fresh and delicious. the pesto pasta was the best i ever ate. i have tried many peruvian places, but this will be the one that i will go from now on, and i cannot stop recommending it to my friends and people that enjoy delicious peruvian dishes.

great!. the place delivered on great rotisserie chicken. this seemingly simple style of preparing chicken is actually quite difficult to perfect but often imitated. the staff along with be quite clearly knows what they are doing. to top it all off the mini alfajores were perfect with that stick to the roof of your mouth texture that signifies an authentic form of the pastry.
