manager is evil!!!. i ordered take out on mother's day for lunch. called in the morning and placed order to pick up at 12:30pm. i arrived at crab pot bellevue at 12:25 and hostess told me it'd be a few minutes. so i waited. and waited. finally at 12:50 i asked if it was ready and told them i had people waiting at home for the order. i then asked the manager to come out and explain why they were half an hour behind. the rude manager came out and demanded to know the name of the person i talked to when i ordered on the phone. like i sit and write the name of the person to order some lunch. i told him it was a girl. then he wanted to know what time i called and i said 10:30, and he screamed at me, 'impossible! i'm the only one here at 10:30'! you didn't call then! " i said it doesn't matter who i talked to, but that it's talking too long. he then yelled at me in the lobby that you always have to get the name or you can't prove anything. i won't be going back to the bellevue location again!

the food was good and we enjoyed the experience and location but the price was excessive.

the crab legs are rotten with a chemical smell like clorox® cleaners. spent over $700 for 9 persons. another anoying thing is the staff are not reliable. i called four times asking for an itemized receipt. each time the manager said they would send it to me via email, but never arrived. i had to go down the the restaurant again to pick up an itemized receipt. won't go there for a big party anymore.

my wife and i ordered the "feast meal" at $40 dollars per person and it was very disappointing to say the least!
my wife ordered a bloody mary and no bloody mary mix or horse radish was used...had to return it.
the food tasted like it was re-heated from the night before...dry sausage, mushy shrimp, overcooked clams, the corn on the cob tasted like water, the potatoes were ok ---- the beer and crab (though small portions) was good.  we showed up at noon, so that's why we got leftovers.  i feel very disappointed and will not go back!  for $133 dollars i could have made the same dish at home....i feel violated!

for a restaurant that sells crab by the pound, one would think that the fish and chips might be house battered, not from a buy out, or that the $25 crab mac and cheese would have an obvious quantity of crab in it, or that the mussels might have some garlic in the "nectar" and served with bread (or even side plates). i would not choose this restaurant again, and would instead go to ivar's for a better, less expensive, lunch.

service was good, didn't have to wait too long. the crab however? the meal with the potatoes and corn it came with? disappointing. with that high of a price tag, and the quality i got? i'll take my business elsewhere.

this is the last time the crab pot in bellevue gets anything out of me. everyone, that knows me knows i'm a seafood junky. i work in this industry & your business hours are your business hours. no matter what... i walked in 15 minutes before last seating. & they literally tried to give me all the scraps & tell me that the portions are accurate. ummmm, guess what, i portion almost this exact food & i'm sorry but your scale is off. i'm not paying this amount of money for under portions. not to mention, i found a rock in my clams. i'm a chef & it's my job to take care of the customers. wow! also, the night manager is horrible. just because the business is closed & we are the last guests does not mean you treat me like this. in the future i hope you figure it out. you've just lost a loyal customer.

at least two people must order in order to indulge in the seafest options. those are the rules. i’ve had it before and sadly, it was very disappointing. a mixture of dungeness and snow crab, shrimp, steamed clams, mussels, andouille sausage, corn on the cob and potatoes. their spice mix doesn’t get mixed into all of the seafood resulting in some pretty bland bites. the potatoes were bland, the corn overcooked, i can go on and on. for $28 per person, you should be getting quality seafood, especially in seattle! brutal. sorry crab pot but you’re terrible. the gimmick of being able to smash your crab legs is over.

you have to go here! review:  prepare to eat like an old age king we you have this dish. this dish is huge. if you haven’t been to crab pott before they’ll pour out the food right in front of you on a table. you’ll have your handy bid, and tolls to devour in the delicious food. the crab and snow crab are on point. the steam pacific mussels are just amazing, they’re better than the clams. the corn is juicy and delicious. the ouille sausage adds, a new spicy to the sea food flavours, others may wonder why it’s in the mix of seafood. the price is well worth it for this feast of the sea food. one gripe is that they give you a lot of red potatoes in the mix. who wants potatoes when

worse and worse. first of all we went to celebrate a special birthday dinner. we quietly told the hostess it was our daughters birthday and asked if they do anything special. she said they would bring a special dessert. ok. as we have done this before and so you don't "ruin the surprise" thought that was taken care of and didn't mention it again to our waiter.
next... we wanted crab which is why we went to the crab pot!. it was definitely over priced but for this special occasion we stuck with the plan. all i can say is... the king crab was dry.... the sausage was dry..... the corn was dry.... the cost... $39.95 for each dinner. we ordered 3 of the king crab meals...added salads and one soup, 3 drinks and our total was $175.00. we don't have a problem spending the $$$$ for the special occasion if the food was good! it was bad! on top of this.... no surprise dessert came for our daughter and since we were already so displeased with the meal we didn't even care about the dessert.
i would also like to add... they give you this wood block and mallet thinking it is purposeful. it is completely useless unless you want to splash crab all over the other patrons in the restaurant if you use it! we had to request small forks to try to dig the crab out... gosh... i could go on and on!
waste of money! bad experience!

if i’m being honest, i could do this myself at home better and cheaper. the crab, shrimp, clam, and mussels are all slightly overcooked and dry and even though the sausages, corn, and potatoes (all also overcooked and dry) are a nice break from all the seafood, they’re coated in such a small amount of boring spice blend that it’s hard to get overly excited.

great birthday treat. my friends told me they were taking me out for my birthday and what a surprise when i found out it was the crab pot- but in bellevue. i have been to the seattle on a few times, but didn't know there was one in bellevue. we got there on a friday eve at 7:30 and were promptly seated ( what a pleasant surprise at that time of nite) the place was fairly full, but we were served drinks right away and got our food on order. has a great meal followed up by 2 huge desserts !!

a very happy 54yo left his new spot for seafood on the eastside.

thank you staff at the crab pot

pretty bad seafood. wasn't really expecting much from this place, but it was worse than expected. for starters the prices are way over the top for what it is. we're thinking about getting crab, but after looking at the prices, would rather cook my own at home. asked about the bucket of mussels and how they were cooked and that should have been the first warning. the server looked confused and had a hard time answering. then decided to get the crab cocktail to start, so we could say we got some crab, pretty pathetic. a parfait glass filled with diced celery a small dollop of crap with cocktail sauce, which tasted like ketchup.
ordered fish & chips for my daughter, not bad. my beer tasted very strange and was warm.
wife and i decided to split a salad and each get a bowl of soup. when we asked what came in the crab salad, again the server had a hard time answering, "sorry, it's still my first month", he said. your first month?! you've been here a month and still have a hard time describing the menu? it's not like its too complicated!
long and short, place sucks. $60 for kids fish & chips, shared salad and two bowls of soup, plus crappy service and crap food. find it amazing that this place gets good reviews at all.
