there are a number of very good burger joints in the greater milwaukee area. i think that you have to put cosmos cafe in the mix when you discuss the best burgers in milwaukee. the burger was simply outstanding and the greek fries were very good on their own. this is a family business - the kind i like to support when i can.

much try for lunch!. went here for lunch for the first time on saturday. the lady who owned the place was amazingly friendly and very caring towards our table. food was fresh, homemade and outstanding. had the chicken gyro and shrimp po-boy. these people cook one heck of a meal! best greek fries around as well!

excellent food. my husband said it's the best gyro he had - great flavor and no grease. i loved their spanakopita (spinach pie). all the food was fresh and made by friendly guys. we'll be back!

great fresh mediterranean cuisine!!. i have been to cosmo café several times and every time is a delightful experience. this cozy local tosa restaurant is an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. some of my favorites are the gyro hash with eggs, the greek burger and their greek fries. the owners are both very noce people and have a passion for great home cooking. their gyro sandwich is the best i have had in milwaukee. one time, i took home a very moist cake that was full of flavor and yummy spices, although i cannot remember the name. just ask them and they will arrange to make some for your next visit. this is a must try place for foodies that like great mediteranean cuisine. very yummy!!

i finally tried cosmos today and i thought the food was great! however, the kid at the counter was too interested in the tv to pay much attention to taking my order and the show that was on the tv was not kid friendly at all. i had to continually tell my 7 year old to look away from the tv show as we waited for our to go order to be ready. since the food was good i really wanted to like this place but i don't think i'll be going back since i don't feel like having my child watch bikini clad women fighting and men violently ripping each other apart with their teeth.

i just recently moved to the east town neighborhood of tosa and i have to say that of all the restaurants i have visited, cosmos cafe is my favorite. the food is prepared fresh with incredible ingredients and flavor. the gyro is full of flavor and the greek fries are delicious. cosmos couples the awesome food with a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and staying well past the end of your meal. i would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food with extremely affordable menu items!

wonderful experience. i stopped in here yesterday with my roommate for dinner and we loved everything about it. the prices are unbeatable, the food was delicious (can't believe some one described it as bland!) and the service was great. it's small inside, but there is also seating outside and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the owner's company, who we chatted with throughout our meal. we will definitely be back soon.

an excellent family restaurant. i had the mediterranean salad, which was very fresh and full of lefy greens, olives, feta cheese, and a fresh slice of bread. this place has wonderful gyros, baklava, huge portions at very affordable prices.

great experience. every member of the family is so authentically nice and down to earth. the place is adorable and the food is fresh and wonderful. get there early because it's standing room only! i'm so happy to see an independently family owned restaurant doing so well.

greek burger was amazing! you also have to get their greek combo platter....best hummus in milwaukee. i have also had their big daddy breakfast and it was an amazing skillet! one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants.

delicious greek food. i have eaten here many times, and every time i am pleased with the good service, friendly atmosphere, and delicious, quality greek food. the gyros are mouthwatering, and i just love the baklava for desert. i would definitely recommend this to a friend.
