casual atmosphere. food is so-so, but that's what you should expect from a sportsbar...although their menu is very large and pretty extensive if you are looking for sandwiches, burritos, burgers, fries, salads, soups etc. the atmosphere is casual and it's a good place to come and grab a beer with friends.

when you first walk into this small and unassuming spot, you'll notice sports paraphernalia adorning the walls of this neighborhood joint.

the best pub food in brookline/boston. the coolidge corner clubhouse is simply the best pub /restaurant around. the food is always delicious, especially the nachos, huge burgers, gigantic salads and all their home-made bbq plates (steak tips, chicken, pulled pork, ribs, and shrimp) the menu is huge and also includes great sandwiches, mexican and a vegetarian section all with terrific variety. the staff is very friendly to us all the time even when we show up with our kids. speaking of kids, they have a kids menu with over 12 items that all include a beverage and ice cream sundae. also if you like sports you will be in heaven between the 20 tv's and great sports memorabilia. the last time we went in for desert, we were sitting next to 2 red sox players after a game at fenway. speaking of desert you have to try the best mud pies ever. they have 6 different home-made flavors to choose from. my favorite is their original recipe, coffee and chocolate ice cream surrounded by an oreo crust and hersheys fudge topping.

the best place ever!!!. i walked into the bar and i was amazed how quick the staff acknowledged me.the food i ordered came out very fast as well. the burgers are great with a side of the best curly fries in man kind. i can't believe how amazing this pub was. everyone on the staff is just terrific. this pub won the" best of boston" award for good reason. their lobster roll which i order all the time during the baseball season and nachos are the best ever. if you order the best nachos in boston beware they may be messy but they're the best nachos ever.. the things i liked the most were the staff and food. everything was just amazing. i can only describe this resturant in 2 words -5 stars***** i would go to the ccc everyday if i could.. this bar is the best pub you will ever eat at!!!

great spot!. i really enjoy going to the clubhouse. it's just about the only place in the area that's open til 2am (with the kitchen open til 1am). but aside from that, the food is delicious - and trust me, they serve heaping portions, so you should be all set for lunch the next day! everything on the menu is reasonably priced, which is also nice for the pocket. my favorite part, though, are the people who work there. everyone is superfriendly, and seem like they really like working there, which you don't usually see in restaurants or bars. the bartenders especially make you feel so comfortable, i have no problem going in by myself for dinner, because there's always someone there to talk to who knows me by face, if not name. and they're great at recommending one of the 30+ beer on tap! i would definitely recommend this place, for either dinner, drinks or both!

bostons/brooklines best. i discovered why this local neighborhood hot-spot has been in business for the last 20 years. the staff was so friendly and efficient that you feel like your best friends with them. the menu selection may very well be the best in all of boston- get this they serve well over 200 items!! everything we have ever had there has been terrific. there burgers are huge. the lobster roll was better than any other we have tried. all the portions are large and the value is great. they have more than 35 beers on tap. the kitchen is open until 1:15 in the morning every night....there may not be another restaurant in this whole city that does that. we went back to try the weekend brunch and that too was great with exceptional bloody marys

what a horrible (unty place. so i roll into this dump late afternoon on a saturday with a lady friend of mine. there are loads of tables open and the "hostess"(aka girl watching football while talking to you) tells us there is a ten minute wait. after about five of those minutes go by and i'm staring at all these empty tables i ask her why we can't have one of the empties. she says they are reserved for parties of 3 or more. i said are there reservations? she says no but since we are a small restaurant they are reserved for parties of three or more. i tell her that's not going to work and that we'll be taking one of those tables. we go and sit down and the manager comes over and asks if she can help us with something. i tell her i'd like some menus because we intend on eating there. she says the tables are reserved for parties of three or more and i say well there is no one else in this place its nearly dead and well past lunchtime and no one else is even coming there. the lady i was with asked me if we could go somewhere else, the horrible (unt of a manager followed us out of the door.

recently, every time i've been in coolidge corner with friends, it's been hard to make a decision on where to eat. this place has a long line, that place isn't what we're in the mood for. somehow, the coolidge corner clubhouse gets suggested and we'll go
