best bread i've ever had. always get one loaf for home and one for the car ride home. i have grown up with this bread (40 years). even my dad who lives in south carolina always gets several loaves when he is up to visit.

best bread in syracuse. title says it all. whenever i bring home a loaf, i am deemed a hero - all for a loaf of bread. i love the deliberately overcooked loaves...they may cut my mouth, but that's a small sacrifice for crispy goodness.

oldnorthsider. iv been goin to columbus bakery for about 40 years.over the years iv noticed some times they save the hot bread for theire piesions,last week we stopped their and one loaf was burnt on the bottom. think they didnt know that? all hand made & packaged.great bread but cheack it.

check out the deli too. as stated by other reviewers, the bread is top-notch. the deli next door serves up a fantastic "meatball on a heel", which in actuality is nearly a half loaf of columbus bread stuffed with meatballs, marinara and your choice of sauce. they sell meats, cheeses and olives (etc.) on their own too.

italian bread. fresh italian bread at it's finest. i dare you to not rip into this bread on your way home. if it were any fresher, it would be dough.
