consistently good !. friendly, fast and great meal. definitely in the top 1% of restaurants in issaquah.

i am wondering why this place is listed in seattle restaurant week. we were there for dinner on sunday and tried they coconut shrimp,green curry and bbq ribs. the appetizers were ok, but the main dishes weren’t tasty or flavorful at all. if you care about the size of the portions, this is the place for you, but if you care about taste, flavors and presentation, do not try it.

my boyfriend enjoys this place, which is really the only reason i've come back. the food is mediocre and the service isn't all that great. for the price of the food, you'd think it'd be better. if they drop the price to reflect the service and food, i'd understand going back.

coho cafe. excellent experience. the food was wonderful. the service was what you would expect at a high end restaurant. we would definitely go back.

noisy with tasteless food. first off it was very noisy! booths and tables all jammed into a square room designed only to cram as many people in as possible. the large group next to where we were seated were shouting to talk to each other over an 18 foot long bunch of tables.

the service was fine, even though the wait staff had to take turns getting trough to the tables because they were too close together.

i ordered the seafood grill which had salmon, large shrimp and scallops. the shrimp and scallops were fine but the salmon was gross. farm raised tasteless, soft mushy texture and nearly no color. we're in the northwest here people, fresh or fresh frozen is always available. no farm raised crap for me.

the other meal was satisfactory, thus two stars instead of one. with all the excellent dining in issaquah, i'm afraid coho will never see another visit from me.

went there tonight extremely noisy and some screaming chinese kid that parents would not control. went to manager and didnt seem to care about it. will not return food was just ok nothing special ahi tacos were not seared had to send back were well done

always the best...the noodle dish and the tropical tea! i crave it all the time!

the food is alright but the place is so noisy don't expect to have a decent conversation with your companions...

inconsistent. update 6/10/2012 we've been going to coho issaquah for some time now. i've concluded that their food is inconsistent...both good and bad. i'm writing an update because the last time there was so disappointing that i vowed never to go there again. worst of all, it was for an (overpriced) ordinary meal...burgers, fries and drinks.

update 9/27/2011 - i had the salmon burger and it was great! fresh and perfectly spiced. the wife had a burger...bleh! she hated it. how do you screw up a burger? the moral of the story, be careful what you order at coho. fish seems to be good overall.

update 9/17/2011 - we went to coho again and had salmon and prime rib. surprisingly bland aside from the mash potatoes. left there feeling a bit disappointed and will probably not return for a while.

issaquah is full of the typical chains eateries and this is what i expected from coho.

my wife had the generous plate of fish and chips and the fish was fresh, moist and battered on the spot. i had the braised short rib with egg on top stack. this tasty concoction was over salted but anything with eggs on top is for me. as we were eating, we saw many other plates of interesting food pass by.

the best part of the place was thea, our waitress. she was very attentive and genuine. good service goes a long way...especially when you are new. we felt welcomed and had fun.

this place is a bit beyond the typically cafe in town. they serve dishes with their own twist. a little overpriced but well worth it. interesting menu that will keep you coming back for more. coho attempts to be different and they succeed. we'll definitely be going back there to try more...a lot more!

fantastic! i had the salmon burger for lunch and it was perfectly seasoned, perfectly seared, and juicy as all get out! busy at lunch and dinner, so that's a good sign! we also came for dinner and had the salmon special and the man had a mixed grill grill. all perfectly done. fantastic!

we give it 4.5 out of 5 bones! the fiery shrimp sambal is a must have. 5 out of 5 the service wes extremely attentive, thanks dennis and erik! the ceviche salad is a nice light delight. 5 out of 5 bones. the burger was good and smokey, 4 out of 5 bones.

great experience. we had a party of four and everyone had a good meal. the portions and prices were good and the waiter was excellent. we did get our movie tickets here and that saved us a couple bucks each and it was a nice service. the atmosphere was pleasent and not to loud.

the only thing that bothered me was the drinks. the online menu and the printed menu states that happy hour was 3 to 6. we didn't realize we had to actually sit in the bar. the hostess sat us on the other side of the wall and were not eligible for the couple bucks off per drink. we did tell the hostess that we were there for food and drink and i think this is information she should have offered.

this was our first time here and we will certinly be back.

the menu selections are great. the food quality is good.
