coffee and food establishment

went there with my sister for lunch today. they were very busy(being mothers day), but the service was outstanding. we had just finished our starter and our mains arrived, so no waiting. staff were everywhere to be seen, so wanted for nothing. food was amazing and well worth what we paid for. thank-you staff and cooks. you made our day !!! will definitely be returning and recommending to all..

great food can't complain. prices are reasonable.
the coffee is really good, i don't always buy coffee and other drinks when i'm out but their coffee is always perfect.
the staff are friendly and the one time they did forget our orders they gave us a discount and the they apologised for the mistake, which is really all they needed to do.
i will be back again for sure.

in the lovely hamilton for the weekend, first place we came too. food well priced, good portions, only thing i would say is small menu, not a big problem tho. mince on toast was ordered with poached egg, ad came with a perfectly runny egg! this have proved an issue at other establishments. apparently perfect breakfast. lemon and ricotta pancakes, big portion, delicious, sweetness, i couldn't eat it all!! coffee, delicious!!

so far, my favourite cafe in hamilton. i have yet to find a place, including an evening restaurant that can match or beat their steak sandwich. the combination of ingredients is perfect, so i often go there just to have it as i am constantly disappointed with other restaurants and the price they charge in comparison to c.a.f.e. i often take friends there and they also love the place.

the staff is friendly! they are funny and lovely to talk to, no problems whatsoever. one time, a waitress misheard my order on a muffin and she easily fixed it by giving me another dish for free.

the cajun salad is delicious and i have friends who also love it too. the salads in the cabinet at the counter are equally great and i also love their fresh leafy salads that they serve. i would also say that they make the best chai latte’s.

their savory dishes are much better quality than their sweet dishes (hotcakes and french toast).

their portion size of french toast is a bit too large tasted a bit dry in the middle and desperately needs to be served with something to counteract the sugar overload such as cream, to make it easier to digest.

muffins are delicious, as they are warmed in the store, but i’m not a fan of their yogurt sauce that it is served with.

aside from this, i would highly recommend to all.

popular cafe in hamilton central, reasonable priced, excellent service, great coffee, good value with grabone voucher. can be quite busy at lunch time though.

seriously this cafe is amazing! the food is always so yummy, it’s reasonably priced and the coffee is delicious! we have always enjoyed our meals here, the atmosphere is pretty good. it’s a little cramped inside, but it’s lovely sitting outside on a nice day. definitely recommend giving this place a go! yummy

great food and staff are nice- some customers that come here can be somewhat pretentious but that's ok coz the food made up for it and glad they have a little alcohol beverage selection! i recommend the corn fritters- huge portion, so probably a good plate to share nom nom

best place in hamilton.

the staff were such salt of the earth kiwis with excellent banter. i came here on a date and they accommodated perfectly and the recommendation of the hash stack and the corn fritters was the best thing that's come into my life since stranger things season 2 came out.

the ambiance is chill and almost feels like wellington. quality coffee topped off a great morning in the tron.

stumbled across this place this morning what can i say by far the best cafe ive been too walked in was greeted by a friendly waitress. their portion size for the french toast was bang on.

will highly recommend this place hands down the most friendliest stuff.

service is amazing, food is amazing, prices are amazing deffs be paying a vist when in hamilton agian!!

lovely coffee and friendly staff. the food was tasty and there was a good range to choose from. i had some lovely corn fritters. would definitely visit this cafe again.

honestly the food is spectacular!! good service. nothing else but would highly recommend :) have been there twice, cannot wait to go again :)

walked in this morning after the anzac dawn service, & was greeted immediately by a friendly waitress. the cafe looked very inviting. there were a few people there, so we were happy to grab an empty booth nearby. menu looked delicious! i ordered eggs bene vegatarian. our hot meals arrived in 15 minutes. big portions, but oh so yummy! mine had portobello mushrooms, roasted peppers, spinach, 2 eggs with creamy hollandaise sauce on thick toasted crusty bread. fabulous!!! ate it all! hot chocolate was delish too. all in all service great! staff attentive & friendly, fabulous menu, & atmosphere very nice. will definitely return. thank you!

good service, awesome food and coffee. tea with actual tea leaves (almost unheard of these days) and reasonable prices ($45 for two people). we had the hotcakes with lemon butter and the potato hash cakes. the hotcakes were light and fluffy, very sweet but the lemon butter cut through nicely. the hash cakes way exceeded my expectations - tall and crispy, gorgeous flavours with the bacon and smashed avo.
only downside was the hollandaise had split, although still edible was disappointing. best cafe in hamilton so far.
