just average. we stopped here on our first trip to visit tybee island based on the reviews. the food was average at best, but our waitress was friendly and the view was pretty cool from our window seat. it's doubtful we'll ever return, however. not worth another visit with all the other options available in the area.

its ok. this place has more of a "bar" atmosphere. the food is okay; good for bar food. but its not a place to go if you're looking for good seafood. we were tourists looking for a good place to eat while on vacation. not impressed.

no your ave place. we thought coco's was just another average seafood place, nothing special. we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food is!! we started with the shrimp & artichoke dip, yum! my 2 year old even loved it. my husband had surf & turf, he said the steak was excellent. i had a cup of the crab soup and the jerk salmon salad. the salad was phenomenal! it had grilled pineapple to complement the blackened salmon and ginger dressing. don't miss dining at coco's. we went on a friday and enjoyed the live music. family friendly dining inside, adult sunset views and drinks on the rooftop deck.

best food on the island. ate here for the first time a few years ago and have been back every time i visit. not technically on the island but worth the effort to find it. super fun atmosphere and every night at sunset they celebrate with a free shot in the bar area. i love the outside areas and walking down to the dock. you can't go wrong with the buffalo shrimp, blackened salmon salad, and tuna bites. good beer selection and great bloody mary's.

great spot!. we enjoyed a fantastic mid afternoon "snack" at coco's. this restaurant has been on tybee for decades, but changed hands and became coco's about 3 years ago. small, clean place right on the water. the food is such a surprise. i didn't expect that quality from a little place like this. there are two rooms, one a small dining room, the other a bar area with tables. a lot of outside eating spots too. our bartender/order taker was mary frances, a real asset to this restaurant. personality plus and helpful with menu suggestions. we enjoyed her and the pandora sound track. the artichoke and shrimp dip, tuna bites and calamari are 3 things we can recommend without reservation. have several local beers on the menu which were very good. if you're in the area, skip uncle bubba's and the over commercialized downtown tybee and head to coco's. you'll be happy you did.

coco's sunset grille. i have not eaten at coco's in a while, so it was my suggestion to drop by here and enjoy a little nostalgia while home for the holidays. this is an excellent casual lunch and dinner spot on tybee. in the evenings, you can expect a festive atmosphere with a large and vibrant crowd. dining here is always a blast. the laid-back atmosphere here is so relaxing. tourists love this place, as well as locals. coco's is absolutely worth turning off the main road.

for an appetizer, try the beer battered calamari and the tuna bites. both are excellent. for entrées, my partner ordered the surf & turf, which he said was quite a good combination. i ordered the seared shrimp and scallops. this is a fresh and well-seasoned dish, and i suggest it. my brother ordered captain frank's seafood platter, which looked to be a good value for the huge amount of food on his plate. there are also sandwiches and wraps which are less expensive. there are plenty of price ranges on the menu. they have a very good selection of beers, too. plus, they have cocotails, which are potent. you must try the funky monkey and the tybee tea.

off the beaten path but well worth the effort. restaurant was very clean, staff was friendly, and food was wonderful! the fried shrimp and flounder were incredibly fresh ( the docks are right behind the restaurant ) for dessert we had the key lime pie and fried strawberriries. delicious. you won't be disappointed.

above average casual beachy fare. fun atmosphere, great location, really nice out door seating, amazing sunset views. the seafood we enjoyed was fresh, well seasoned, and tasty. excellent wings! fried seafood options are crisp and lightly breaded. price was a little high, but reasonable for the location and large portion size...you could trim down the check by opting for sandwich platters. show up for sunset and the bar for a free "toast to the sunset." fun, family friendly place!

eat where locals eat. go straight to the roof and watch the sunset while eating the local caught shrimp. good wings too.
