great selection of south african craft beers, best sushi in nelspruit and good range of steaks and accompaniment, limited deserts menu made up by having 1/2 price cocktails weds and saturdays :)

quite possibly the worst experience i have ever had at a restaurant. unfriendly staff, over priced and whatever you do, do not order the nachos ! the nachos consist of big corn bites (yes big corn bites not nachos) with a disgusting cheese sauce that almost tasted like lemon cheese cake? and then some guacamole quite obviously not fresh with a small amount of cream for r125.00??? table was broken, was with my baby and they didn't offer a seat for him. (yes i know its not a family restaurant but come on) the manager didn't even say a word to us and we were the only customers. do yourself a favor and go get some slap chips and bread and not only will you have a better meal but your wallet wont be angry with you either. ps also just a tip to cicada, don't serve you food in the equivalent of a dog bowl.

very cool vibe and general look, great service, our waitress was super friendly and attentive. we had sushi for starters- the bali rolls were really good. as for mains we were slightly disappointed, ordered the hake and calamari- the hake and calamari were over seasons and very salty making it difficult to finish, the “lemon butter” sauce tasted like artificial lemon flavoring and lastly the rice was extremely bland. other people in our group ordered burgers which were very average. wouldn’t return in a rush

went for the cocktails and was awfully disappointed. had a bloody mary and pina colada. bloody mary tasted like tomato sauce and vodka. pina colada tasted like premix. no signature cocktails on the menu and expensive for what you get. wont return.

always a great place to be, whether it is just for after work drinks or a place to grab a bite when you're too lazy to cook. staff are always friendly and helpful, and the food is always tasty and warm. cocktail specials on wednesday and saturday are also a bonus!

absolutely one of my favorite restaurants! recently traveled to nelspruit for business and found this absolute gem! food was great service was excellent! would defnitly recomend the sushi and the cammenbert samosas

absolutely fantastic! great atmosphere, food was great, the meat was cooked to perfection and the food compliments each other. very nice original sushi and well priced! best of all we had great service!

food was good but bit expensive, nice setup of bar, something different, parking is a problem and bit noisy at times due to traffic, floor was a bit dirty and sticky due to drinks spillage but not cleaned properly.

for us locals it is the best place to be. love the food, love the vibe, favourite place in nelspruit! well done to garth and his team for an awesome establishment.

had lunch there a few weeks ago. steak was overcooked, beer warm, service slow and i just didn't feel what everyone was on about when i heard about is a few months ago. i was disappointed.

this review is tricky there were some brilliant elements like the waitress who was a delight, the camembert samosas which were heavenly and the dessert which was delicious .. will go back for the camembert anytime !! but the not so good was my cosmopolitan which was very sweet, my steak was not great & looked as if it and the veg had just been plopped on the plate and we had to wait ages for the bill - not sure what the hiccup was & maybe it was just a busy night.

cicada has lovely cocktails plus their steak fillets are to die for. the service is always great, never had to wait long and the waiters are very friendly.

love this place. such a great vibe! such an awesome place to meet friends and have some jam jars. would recommend this place any day. come and check it out.
