one of the best in town restaurants in town comfy atmosphere great food and amazing service. but one thing's for certain make sure you don't leave until you have a chance to try their scones they are to die for!!!

i love chubby's cafe! the food is always fresh and yummy. their beef is ground in house and you can taste the difference! there are so many good options on the menu that i have a hard time deciding what to order, but some of my favorites are the bbq burger, the cheesesteak burger, the shrimp po-boy, and when i am in the mood for something a little lighter, my go to is the strawberry chicken salad! the service is great too! eat at chubby's, it's so good!

very disappointed! i called chubby's on friday 10/21/2016 and reserved their large banquet room. i was told that the room could accommodate 75 people. i mentioned that we could have as many as 80-82 people to which the lady responded "not a problem". i asked if they had a projector screen that we might use and she said "absolutely".

got a call a couple minutes ago from some guy at chubby's saying "hey, you have a room reserved and we cannot take that many people, especially when we are busy. and plus we don't have a projector screen so you'll have to find somewhere else to go." no apology, no offering an alternative solution, just "go somewhere else"

i will do that and tell as many people as i can to "go somewhere else" not sure who it was that called me as he didn't give or leave his name but i sure hope it wasn't one of the owners that called me. if it was, sir, you have a serious lack of skill in dealing with the paying public.

great reuben sandwich. our extended family loves their burgers, fries and especially their reuben sandwiches.

chubby's cheesesteak, blt, both delicious. the cheese steak, new orleans style, is made with succulent, melt in your mouth tender, thin slices of steak, sauteed peppers and onions, pepper jack cheese and a horseradish, mayo, all overfilling a large, fresh, soft roll. the blt is made on large toasted slices of sourdough bread, 5 whole strips of premium bacon, and of course, fresh, crisp iceberg lettuce and slices of red, ripe, tomatoes, and mayo. they are both so good, i have a hard time deciding what i want to eat that visit.

chubby's new location. i love the new location on state street in pleasant grove, right next to allred ace hardware. the place is more than twice the size of the old one. it's all new, clean and a great atmosphere. you still have long lines at noon and 6:00 friday nights but at least you have a place to sit. the booths are beautiful and none of them are broken. now , for the food. it is as good as it ever was. i could live on the chubby's cheesesteake. overflowing with tender moist beef and covered with melted pepper jack cheese and their secret mayo sauce. i think it must be cajun style as it has a little kick to it. the bun is soft, fresh and delicious. the service is great and the food always comes out hot and fresh.

eat at chubbys!. the ultimate! my husband and i go there at least once a week and we almost always get the blt. it is on large sour dough bread, has plenty of fresh iceberg lettuce, red tomato slices and 5, yes 5 long strips of high quality bacon. this comes with a side, i get their yummy salad with the homemade ranch dressing, and hubby gets fries. the cost? a paltry $4.99 for more food than you can eat! best blt i have ever had.

3 words... jalapeno ranch burger. i have been there 4 times now and loved every bit of it. 1st time i had the jalapeno burger (awesome) next time i had the sweet buffalo chicken but i got ranch instead of blue cheese on it (maybe more awesome) the 3rd and 4th time i got a bbq burger (maybe the most awesome) i might be stuck on that one for awhile. this is a must try place. they said it was the best kept secret in the valley, well, not much of a secret any more. it got really busy last friday night when i was there last.

great food. the fish n chips are amazing!!!!! i am from seattle so i don't throw that around easily.

never again!!!!!! dirty , dark, broken seats, took forever to get our food.... and lets not forget.... my burger tasted like fish and after i choked it down while smelling the strong odor of an over perfumed outhouse..... my hands smelled like fish .... gross!!!!!! the place should be condemned ... i felt like it was cleaner as k & vs with so much smoke in the air you couldn't see..... !!!!! never again if i could rate this 1 - 5 stars it would be a minus 5

delicious!. when i go to chubbys i get the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and it is the best chicken sandwich i have ever had!!!

but what a tasty way to go. this is a heart-attack on a plate-but what a way to go! fantastic burgers and fries, excellent salads! really enjoyed the food and service at chubby's though it's really greasy (not necessarily in an un-enjoyable way) so i can only go once in a great while.

tried 2 more amazing burgers!!!. i've already reviewed once, but i wanted to add that the jalapeno ranch burger and the mushroom swiss burgers are awesome! i had the first and my hubby had the mushroom swiss. both with very tasty, but i'll probably have the mushroom swiss next time. this past time we went in the beer-battered fries didn't wow we as much as last time. i'm not sure why. hopefully just a fluke.

tasty and affordable!. we stumbled upon chubby's through urbanspoon. the shrimp po-boy is very tasty...and big. they did a good job with the jambalaya side too. my wife got the adult grilled cheese, which just turned out to be american cheese on texas toast...nothing very adult about it except thick bread. it was ok but nothing special. the beer-battered fries were very good though.

we'll go back to sample some of the burger options, which appear to be their preferred menu items.

get the shrimp po-boy it's amazing :)

rustic bite. rustic and delicious! we have gone in twice now. the food is great and the prices are good. the first time was so busy they had a line out the door. we had a small group with us and we had burgers and chicken strips. the second time we went in we had a bacon burger and pastrami burger with beer battered fries, the quality was great. you will love the docor of vintage windows, candy machines and a radio flyer wagon! we will be going back to this delicious gem, we have to try their shakes!
