christopher's a neighborhood place

christophers - wayne. this has been one of my favorite places to dine when in wayne. although i hadn't been here in awhile. sad to see they didn't serve the scallops and arugala salad. alas must be a summer menu, because the scallops are back - yay!!!

great menu with daily specials, weekend includes a brunch option and an extensive drinks list. i was here on a sunday afternoon and the place was packed with locals. service is good, if a little slow.

thought we would give it a try. will not be returning. while our server was excellent,the food was not. the malvern location provides a pleasant atmosphere,but the food is barely edible. owners,do yourself a favor,hire some real chefs.

the food is bland. the place is loud and filled with kids. i went one night for dinner and couldn't hear myself think. then, because i apparently did not learn my lesson, i went back a few months later for brunch. eggs benedict was inedible. with theresa's two doors down, and other great surrounding restaurants, i see no point in going here.

we came here because of the great reviews online.  the space looks great, it’s clean and huge. definitely a family place. when we got there, almost every table had a young child. the waiter service was very quick up until the end when we were trying to pay the bill and leave. beef chili soup i started off with the beef chili soup. mainly because i was planning on getting fries w my sandwich and was in the mood for chili cheese fries. the beef chili soup wasn’t overly salty or too chunky. it was good! crabcake sandwich w fries i had the crabcake sandwich with french fries. the crabcake smelled like and tasted like fried fish. i was confused and had joe try it too, and he agreed with me that it didn’t taste like crab at all. i did appreciate the mango pineapple salsa, it was very refreshing.  the french fries were hot and crispy and not greasy at all. they were especially delicious with the beef chili. blue plate special of t

christopher's is family-friendly, and located in a great spot of wayne that gets lots of foot traffic. it's got a great atmosphere with exposed brick walls, hardwood floors and a lot of natural light. adorning the walls were these wonderful fall photographs taken by a local artist of colorful fall foliage. the vibe is cheery and bright when you walk through the door. everyone is all smiles. the menu has many vegetarian choices. there are weekly specials listed, though none are vegetarian, but that's okay, since there are many to choose from on the menu. christopher's prides itself in supporting organic and local farm fresh food providers, and serving food made from healthy, high quality ingredients. much of their comes from lancaster farm fresh cooperative, a no

loud and not tasty. way, way overrated. snooty waitstaff and gross food. the food is just so so and always seems like it's a few days old and microwaved. i'd rather go to bravo pizza where they're nice and the food is fresh.

mussels!!!. christopher's mussels: chipotle butter sauce - very tasty and filling, huge portion size, excellent spice kick. the broth is just as good as the mussels - order extra bread to mop it all up!!
red curry mussels: these are new and awesome as well!! really great flavor combinations!
they have 2 more ways they make them - both are superb as well.
martini's + mussels + great apps/entrees to share, + awesome desserts (pumpkin cheesecake last week was fantastic!!) = i will continue to dine at christophers and keep recommending this place to everyone!!! this place is fantastic and always consistent!! can't go wrong at christopher's neighborhood place! also, sign up for the christopher's club customer loyalty program too!!!

good times :). food is just "ok" but this is definitely a fun place to take the kids on a friday night for an early dinner.

been coming here for years. food is consistently great, kid friendly, and the bar is good too! definately a north wayne staple.

a nice choice for low key dining. they have a wide selection of food, from a seared ahi tuna appetizer to a buffalo chicken salad. the kids menu has more than one or two choices so eating healthy is not difficult for the wee ones. the atmosphere was a little noisy, but conversations could still take place.

the dessert tray had several tempting choices so save some room.

christophers is great if you want a nice meal but not expensive!!! great food and a lot of fun

food is awfull, at par with microwaved dinners.

friendly waitstaff, excellant food! kid friendly too. great burger ,although i haven't had anything here that's not good
