i went there for lunch and got the sichuan noodles to take away. well priced in my opinion ($13.80) and a large portion size. they tasted incredible, i'll definitely be going back on my lunch break later on this week.
maybe i'll try another dish as well!

first time visited this place, tasty dishes and good portion sizes. the owner recommended the braised pork on rice for as kids meal, we all loved it. hubby said that he will order it for himself next time. rich broth in the malatang, loved it to the point that i drank the most of it. braised ribs are tender and lots. will go back to try the fish dishes.

nice chinese food , reasonably priced, friendly service

a regular here. love their fish in hot and spicy sauce and spicy noodles. they have the best portion size for the fish in comparison to any other place i've visited.

yinbib hot spicy noodle.this is the boiled hot noodles, mixed with hot sauce after chilled water. the sauce is a bit salty. overall it's not bad, it's a good choice for a quick lunch

hands down the best malatang in town.
i have tried all malatang places in auckland and i always come back to this place because not a single restaurant beats chinese cuisine’s malatang. the soup base is ridiculously good. the owner said that they make their own soup base with bones, meats, spices etc. this is the main reason that other places cannot beat this place. they fry the ingredients first before adding soup in. hence it’s super flavourful and tasty.

i even downloaded chinese food delivery app so i can get their malatang delivered home when i don’t feel like going out.

one thing to remind you is that mild taste is also quite spicy here so be careful if you cannot eat spicy. they also have not spicy so opt for that one.

looks like its a family business. i love the old lady who always takes extra care of customers and always smile and greet me although she cannot speak english. other staffs can speak fluent english.

delicious food，good servise

really good taste food, especially the stir-fry hotpot and deep-fried sweet and sour pork. i really enjoy the services there, quite nice and welcoming.

this is yummy chinese restaurant at albany. good choice for friends gathering together, having a good lunch and dinner. kindly boss, nice service and delicious food. will be back again and again.. hahaha

came here for a late dinner. we ordered a tomato and egg soup and chicken dumplings. i like the soup but the dumplings is a little bit tasteless. still good if eat with soy sauce and chilli though. the waitress was really friendly and made us wanna return again.
