tastety and nice. the service was great. they didnt huver but werent scares eather.

the sweat and sour pork was exalant. most chinese foods now are asembly line breaded everything. therepork had a light almost not there breading and it was flavorful and moist.

loved the stir fried almond chicken it tasted great

when you're served tea that has no flavor, you should run. kids did ok with sweet & sour chicken. ordered sesame chicken which is a standard dish. was served something that looked like mongolian beef but with shredded bits of chicken, sauce was like maple syrup.

best hot & sour soup!  great friendly service - fast too.  everything we've tried is good.  been going there for many, many years.  best chinese food around.

great place! the staff is very friendly and helpful. the food was clean, delicious, and plentiful for the price. i got three meals out of my pickle and pork noodle soup! the egg rolls were yummy, and you could tell the veggies were fresh. even the fortune cookies were awesome :-) this is our new favorite chinese restaurant.

good food.. this is good, solid chinese food. it's not authentic to the degree that you're going to find in san francisco or new york city, but it's tasty and well executed.

great food!. we've been going to the china house for over 5 years, and it's definitely our favorite chinese restaurant. we love to get one of the big round tables when we have a family gathering, and we've never had a problem getting one. the food is excellent, and i especially like the egg rolls, which aren't greasy like you find in a lot of restaurants. this one is family owned, and they take pride in producing fresh, high quality meals. i highly recommend china house!

nice, clean, friendly place with consistently good chinese food cooked by a chinese chef/owner. family run business with a history of success. good every time we've been there, always a nice experience.

fresh, flavorful, lots of menu options. i've eaten here a number of times now, and every meal has been solid, fresh, flavorful, with it's own unique taste (unlike some americanized chinese places where it's hard to tell one dish from the next).

the meats are always tender, the vegetables bright and flavorful, and the soups range from delicate (won ton) to bright and very spicy (hot and sour soup), and the breaded dishes are not so "breaded" that you can't find the actual food.

i've started to make my way through the menu a bit, and the snow white chicken (with a touch of soy sauce added), the chicken with green bell peppers, water chestnuts and black bean sauce, and the tomato beef are especially very fresh and tasty.

china house is far above the run of the mill chinese restaurant, and worth finding.

i don't understand the reviews that talk about "not authentic." i've been to china, and many dishes are just like those at china house. in fact, the owners here (man and wife) are both chinese, and the man is the head chef!

flavors are fantastic in every dish we've tried, and this place has become an extended-family favorite. the snow white chicken with pea pods is melt-in-your-mouth tender; the tomato beef is scrumptous and savory; other dishes are equally fantastic, and we haven't found a greasy dish yet!

the chinese food here of course has been modified somewhat to american tastes, but that doesn't mean it's not authentic, and it certainly is tasty. service is quietly competent. ingredients are fresh, and each dish is distinct and flavorful in it's own right.

this is a great little restaurant at very reasonable prices.

bluekat. beware! by far the worst restaurant and food i have ever had. filthy and disgusting food.

got cashew shrimp and sweet n sour chicken for take out. drove 3 miles home. chicken and shrimp both appeared previously frozen. sauces bland and tasted reconstituted. the egg role had an odd soapy taste to it. even the fortune cookies were stale. the rice appeared to be freshly made. dinner for two was over $30 and not worth it.

love this food! my bff told me about this place so glad i came i had a meal combo of fried rice general tso's and chicken chow mein i loved everything and i never liked chow mein. i cant wait to come back:)

we enjoyed the food, the service, the decor and the friendly staff members. the menu has almost all the known chinese dishes including peking duck and the price per entree are very reasonable. try it and you'll come back for more.

best chinese in auburn. consistently reliable and good quality chinese food. the veggies are fresh. love the mu shu, the green beans and their house noodle soup. the staff is always accommodating and friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. i bring groups here on occasion and host business lunches. once of the better options is auburn, i think.

we got to the china house restaurant in auburn right when it opened at 12pm. it wasn't very busy as there were just two other tables that came in to eat while we were there.
