this place is good. dont do buffet but since i was traveling on business i needed something close to the hotel. there is something for everone...chicken, shrimp, octopus, mussels, pork, beef and made to order hibachi. well worth the price for the value and quality. at least 60 things to choose from

foods was ok... sushi chef was mean... they look at you everytime u get the sushi

the only place to go for the freshest, most innovative sushi. josh, the a sushi magician, always has special treats for us. i like my food very spicy and he surprised me with a sushi roll with lots of sriracha and chopped fresh jalapenos. i was in heaven !the rest of the food is tasty as well, but we hardly have room enough after all those wonderful sushi creations. the staff is very friendly, the restaurant is clean and parking is easy. love this place !

the food was tasty, but there was one big issue... all the food was cold! we ended up eating the hibachi so that we could have warm food. if the food was warmer...this place would have been amazing!

worst restaurant in greensboro!. i went on a friday at noon. the food was barely warm. most of the food was frozen which had been deep fried. there was no organization of food. the chinese food was mingled among the american dishes. you had to browse the whole buffet to find the chinese dishes. the food to be used on the hibachi grill did not include rice! only one chef was cooking at the hibachi grill and there was a line of four people waiting to have food cooked. the ice cream contained ice crystals. the chinese chicken dishes contained very, very fatty chicken...gross! i would not go back if it was free and have already warned my family in greensboro against it.

fantastic, fresh food. my husband and i went to china buffet in greensboro at 5 o'clock on a saturday. we had never been there before and chose it because we were close by. we walked in and immediately i was reminded of the luxury of las vegas, the way the ceiling is inset with a disk of blue and night time stars. i counted not three, not five, but ten different islands of food! there were tons of food of all kinds. i'm a big fan of fish, and when i saw their sushi layout i was amazed. i filled a plate just by taking one of each kind of sushi! it was all amazingly fresh; as i was taking sushi the chef put out another tray. the rice was so nice and soft, and the fish was fresh. my husband commented on how fresh their chicken wings were when we were sitting down. i then proceeded to try a lot of the non-sushi food, and was impressed with how everything had a distinct temperature. the chicken was hot, the cake was cold: everything was the temperature it was supposed to be because it had been placed down so recently. this is by far the best chinese buffet experience i've ever had. we were both kind of nervous as the check came because based on the opulence of the setting we expected it might cost more than the lower quality chinese buffets we'd been to. but it was only $25 for both of us! i'm not sure how they do it for such low cost. i definitely ate that amount in fresh sushi alone. what a great value for the money.

my parents are coming in from out of state in a few weeks and they're big fans of chinese buffet. i intend to take them here and expect them to be super happy :)
will definitely go again, will definitely recommend to friends.

yuck. nothing seemed fresh. the chicken dishes tasted like the chicken was on the verge of going bad when it was prepared. good variety of foods, but very poor quality. i hope i don't get sick

my chinese buffet go-to. my favorite part of this place is the made to order hibachi grill. i can even get it with fried egg in it! (a rarity in the south) there's a huge variety and typically fresh food is brought out regularly, but i have noticed it doesn't happen so quickly when business is slower.

i have eaten at every chinese buffet in gboro over the past few decades and i must say that china buffet is the best value and variety to ever have existed in this city. quality is good for the price and the reviews that gripe on it are really unrealistic, for the price it is a great place to take the family. the ice cream is real and the sushi variety is americanized but vast. well done china buffet.

food is great and plenty to chose from. best to come on a slow night because it can get crowed fast! and the servers will try to get rid of you quickly! kind of rude. but other than that i like them.

other than the fact i don't really go for buffets this was a clean place to eat. however, they don't always have their buffet stock with out going fresh food.

food was good. they have a huge buffet. however, $10 is more than i want to spend for lunch.

bad choice on this day. this was a very disappointing choice for wife and me on a tuesday 5:30. most food was hard and cold (not fresh tasting or hot) and looked as if it had been out all afternoon. two adult buffets with one drink was $25. not a good experience for first time visit. can't imagine going back, unless at a busier time. when i expressed kind disappointment at check out, the business would have done well to refund my money to encourage me to try again. instead they seemed offended.

now this is a buffet. wow, now this is the way to do a chinese buffet - buffet table, after buffet table, loaded with an amazing assortment of dishes. all the usual suspects are here - general tao chicken, black pepper chicken, pepper steak, chicken wings, egg rolls, fried rice, korean chicken, and on and on - probably over 100 items here.

this huge place (this was a k & w in a different life) also offers very good sushi, a hibachi grill, a large salad bar area, whole broiled fish, a large desert bar, and even some fresh fruit. it also has some of the best fried fish (crispy outside, tender and sweet inside) i've had on any buffet, regardless of ethnicity, and excellent fantail fried shrimp - eating a dozen isn't so bad, is it? these last 2 items are hardly a chinese item, but lord they are good.

the chinese items here are the normal americanized versions - fresh, decent flavor, but no real zip in the taste area - we are not in the presence of authentic or cutting-edge fusion chinese cuisine here, just solid versions of many common dishes. now the hibachi grill items are typical, as well - pick out what you want and they will grill it with what sauce you choose. the sushi is surprisingly good - not the best in town, but good. there are even some "kiddy" items likes fries and chicken tenders.

this is an attractive place - modern, clean lines, nice and bright. the service is excellent - drinks quickly refilled, plates removed, chopsticks secured if desired. all this for about $8 at lunch.
