chevy burger

the prices here are perfect for students. it's very affordable and the serving is fair. :) the ambiance is quite nice too, feels like you're in a high school cafeteria where you usually bump into old friends and even neighbors. :)

the chevy belly burger was nice for its price (p120.00) but it isnt exceptional as i dream it would be. all in all, i would give it a passing rate because the ham used on their burger and sandwiches are thick. :)

i visited this place awhile ago. i have decided to try this one because numerous posts i have seen in facebook. i ordered messy burger, buffalo wings, supah fries, and iced tea. their messy burger tastes good. i can say that it's pure beef. i wish the patty was grilled instead of deep fried. what i liked the most is the buffalo wings and their not-so-expensive iced tea. their large iced tea is only 25 pesos. i can compare their iced tea to wendy's. the price of their foods is very affordable. i will definitely go back to this place.

delicious and tasty foods at a pocket friendly price.. their nachos are superb..super sulit!!! nagpa take out pa nga kami..messy melt burger is good. i didn't like the fries though..

we didn't know where to eat so we decided to have dinner at chevy burger along sumulong highway.
location:
it is just after roosevelt college if you're coming from marikina. it is located on the left side of the road.

parking:
good thing there are only two vehicles parked in front of chevy and there is still space for one more.

space and seats/tables:
in terms of space, it is quite enough. it has plenty of tables and it is well-ventilated. good thing that we ate here during the night.

service/crew:
the crew was accommodating and patient enough considering we have plenty of orders (for 6 pax).

food:
spaghetti: taste is so-so. i wasn't able to finish it though as the serving is very generous considering its price which is 95php.
burgers: their patty is small 😞 and i don't find it delicious like boyong's.
you can ask for ketchup and mustard.
rice meal (oinkatsu)
i love the sauce of this rice meal! but the pork is quite hard to chew but still considerable.

would i eat here again?

my family and i have eaten here so many times, i've lost count already. my personal favorite is their fish and chips (bbq flavored fries for me), in da club, and the holy fish. i even love their iced tea! as for their prices, you get more than what you pay for (big serving and it also tastes good) - it's really worth the try!

cheeseburger, fries, and bottled water for only 95 pesos; imho it's way better than bee & ronald.

so i went to chevy burger san roque branch near ynares center to eat and take a break. i pulled my laptop with me to take some calls. i’m quite running out of battery power so i decided to plug just to avoid disconnecting my calls. while talking to over the phone and eating what i ordered, the attendant approached and advised that “the manager advised that we need to disconnect our laptop for charging as the manager/owner does not allow it”. that is totally rude. i did not even charged my laptop for more than 30mins. and i have been with other establishments wherein they even offer phone or any gadget charging as added service. this is totally bad experience. i’m appealing to you guys, please do not patronize this branch! customers do not deserve unfair treatment!

kaya 3 kasi hindi pa kami nakakapunta sa place mismo. just last night my husband and i decided to try this burger joint. nagpagrabfood kami. ordered messy melt burger ba yun and hungarian hotdog. sa nagsabi na hindi naman msarap yung burger, i dnt know kung bakit pero masarap naman both lalo na with its price. sulit kaya. will visit the place one of these days. :)

presentation is good. ambience is decent. but the burger is your typical frozen patty carried by other local burger joints. at least the fish and chips were satisfying. customization of your burger is non-existent. i will never come back here.

i haven't personally tasted their burgers yet, but jaoey finished both of the cheese burgers and daddy seemed to also have liked his, so i think it's safe to say that chevy's burgers are okay. aside from burgers and sandwiches, they also serve have pasta, salads, and rice plates that are all affordable.

just a couple of let downs:

1) the place is clean but a bit hot; additional electric fans would do the trick

2) would be nicer if they serve other drinks like fruit shakes and juices

3) this is just a personal preference, but i think serving the dressings and condiments separately would be better, to give diners more control of what goes in their sandwiches.

the bad
(-) the quantity of the lettuce in the green salad seemed little. it didn't have cucumbers like how it was described from their menu.
(-) the breaded chicken was filled with too much flour according to my father; it was tough too.

the good
(+) their food were reasonably priced especially for the budget conscious and the cheapskate.
(+) both the chicken dishes tasted like it were seasoned with various herbs & spices. the classic fried chicken was indeed crispy; it was instantly my mother's favorite. the quesadilla didn't have a pungent smell and taste. the dip burst was so flavorful which my palette enjoyed.
(+) they used disposable paper cups and provided a tumbler filled with water. i liked this idea to avoid waste.

second time ko ng kumain dito. the first time we tried their burgers, second was their hunggarian sausage. okay naman. you get what you pay for.

i first had this on their first branch. serving is actually good for two already. their burger is okay considering the price. spaghetti is fine, filipino style.

messy tables. employees doesn't mind cleaning it? well, we do mind it.

burgers ain't that special. no magic. i think jollibee's burger is better.
