the menu is simple with just a flash of complex elegance, and the food quality delivers. having some food allergies to contend with, i was curious to see how they would handle my requests. the chef personally greeted me at the table and went through each item of interest to me. the result was a tasty alteration from the original menu, oh yes, and a custom made sauteed berry crepe for dessert, not on the menu. my husband ordered the wine pairings for each course and complemented his meal perfectly. for the quality, service, and atmosphere you receive, the price is extremely reasonable. to top it all, the owners laurie and kevin tarter are truly the nicest people you will ever meet. so go ahead, get a sitter or surprise your loved one with an enjoyable evening in downtown winter garden.
