now that is some good food! i visited cheers this afternoon after not having been there for quite some time, i was so pleasantly surprised by the quality and the freshness of the food! such an authentic natural taste is hard to come by. our waiter, lovemore was very accommodating, speedy and friendly; the owners of the pub, are so welcoming and really make you feel right at home. stellious and his family have truly created something remarkable.

arrogant shoulder shrugging manager!!!! absolute incomponent waiter. "things go wrong???????" his only comment after one of the most horrible experiences at a eatary! cold food, after waiting for the complete table order? obviously not in need of people supporting them in these times? but then agian no management on the floor,eveeybody inside at the bar!!!! shame on you!!!

not my usual type of hangout but great value for a weekday meal. great specials and super friendly service, the place was packed.

great range of beers on tap, friendly staff and a diverse menu to suit any taste. they also have a long list of speciality cocktails and a full bar to brew almost any concoction you can imagine. flat-screen tvs are well placed to be easily viewed from any location and if there's no sport on, the music is easily accessible to all but the most disagreeable of listeners.

we had their 200g fillet special for r79.99 and had no complaints whatever. the fillet was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and was tender as fillet should be, the onion rings were tasty and the chips were very good. this was an excellent meal at a very affordable price. highly recommended and we'll definitely be returning to try their other menu items (we previously had their wednesday night rib special and were equally thrilled with the quality of the food)

have been here a few times. good sports at which caters for the smokers more than for the rest of us but still a good place to pop in for a very quick affordable and well prepared pub food.

my family has been regular clients at cheers restaurant for quite some time now.  we get exceptional good service, delicious food, great value for money and really friendly owners and staff! i recommend cheers restaurant for any individual, group of friends, or families.  it is a peaceful environment, and just lovely to sit and relax, visit with friends.  there are quite a few dishes i will recommend:  the omelettes with mozarella cheese, the special spitfire breakfast, the really good impala platter to share, the delicious chicken salad, and so much more.  really good value for money.  the waiters are also very helpful and eager to render excellent service!
anyone who gives a bad report, surely had a bad day already before they entered cheers, that's for sure!  i am looking forward to many visits still, and invite all my friends for a good time.

worst service ever. dirty and just bad bad service. would not see me again, even though i live in the area, suggest you try irene mall. many places to eat with excellent service.

busy pub restaurant in a quiet suburb. friendly staff and fast service. great pub lunches and good value for money. great place to watch sports games with friends.

cheers is a quirky place with great decor. this place is great to hang out and watch the rugby. the atmosphere is upbeat but can get really busy!
