more than just tradition!. a pre-game must for anyone wanting the full fenway park experience, the cask 'n flagon sits in the shadow of the historic ballpark. but more than a great atmosphere and a fun place to meet friends before the game, the c'nf also has great food. the buffalo wings can compete with any i've had and the dh (italian sausage with onions and peppers on toasted french bread with marinara and melted cheese was very good! go because it's a cool place to hang out, but don't miss the food while you're there.

super chill place! actually my favorite in the fenway area. they have some great choices on the menu and some good service too. it gets super packed on game nights but otherwise it's a nice place to hang out with friends. the prices are decent too!

the typical sport bar! this place was packed before the game. great beer and appetizers, nothing more. great place to gather and watch any sports.

good times!. great place for pregame debauchery! get there really early on game days to get a spot to cop a squat!

the food can be hit or miss, but this last time the hubs and i opted for the combo platter starter sampler to share while we waited for rain to pass before one of our yanks/sox games. it was the perfect bar food meal for two! the philly steak and cheese spring rolls are ridiculous.

i always expect places like this to have sub par service, especially when it's packed with game-goers. but i've always encountered friendly staff that puts up with the masses really well! even sitting at a packed bar, our bartender kept 'em coming and never once had to ask, "what are you drinking again?" impressive with the amount of people in the joint.

can't wait to go back next time we're in town!

best sports bar restroom ever..... ....if you're a guy, especially as the years creep up and your prostate expands. should nature call at a parttcularly key portion of a game, rest assured that you will not miss a play, as i counted a half dozen tv screens in the restroom.
same courtesies don't extend to the xx contigent as my wife shrugged "what's so great about the restroom?" on her return from the ladies.
brief, but good selection of some local taps, friendly bartenders and serviceable pub grub going on here.

horrible service. went here on yankees-red sox night so it was busy, but there were still plenty of tables, and there were plenty of servers. once we got seated, no one paid any attention to us for easily 10 minutes, even though we were in plain sight. we flagged down a waitress who we more or less forced to take our order. another girl brought our food, but didn't bring silverware, so we had to flag another girl down. then, no one checked on us ever again, so that required flagging another girl down to get a bill, and then again to take the credit card. i don't remember tipping that low in a long time. the food was just average in our minds.

1st day great 2nd day a downer. stopped in to kill time before game food was really good, bar staff 2 guys were great gave us a couple more places to go to... went the next day to grab a drink....... such a downer compared to the day before we watched the one female bartender spent more time talking about personal things with fellow worker and the male bartender follow her back and forth, as we were the only 2 there at the bar would think they would atleast try and talk to a customer than catch up on gossip and checking her phone every 5 minutes.

if good sauce can take a nothing meat and suddenly make it all seem worthwhile, then call me mary tyler moore. just don't call me if you're headed to the cask 'n' flagon.

rude waitress. bartenders dont know how to many anything.

great atmosphere. great food. not a great selection of beer. i expected more choices of beer.

it's the best sports bar you'll ever go to.
