bada bing!. this is the real thing. way off the strip, this little gem is far and away one of the best italian restaurants i've had the pleasure of trying in my 50+ trips to vegas. i kept expecting frank, dean, sammy and joey to walk in any minute. in fact, the crooner, last name bugati, sounded just like frankie. no kidding. after drooling over the extensive menu for awhile, i chose the osso buco, and folks let me tell you, it was simply orgasmic. no kidding. the veal just fell off the bone and the deep hearty flavor of the soup was divine. something i've rarely found is that it was topped with a delicious gremolata, which is chopped garlic, parsley and lemon zest. my dining partner (who kept kicking me so i'd quiet my moaning) had the steak fiorentine, and he actually let me have a bite. perfect. just perfect. from the bread and salad, to the fabulous remy xo cognac, i was in heaven, sicilian style.

my favorite restaurant in vegas. if i lived in vegas i would be a regular diner at casa di amore. i love this restaurant and i go there every time i'm in vegas. the food is wonderful and the service is too. if you call ahead, you can have them pick you up from the strip in a complimentary limo! at the restaurant, they have live music provided by a singer/piano man who plays rat pack classics and who will also take requests. this restaurant is fun, delicious and inexpensive.

we had a great dinner and wonderful service. my family all flew to las vegas for my 60th and my mother in law's 84th birthdays and we wanted to go somewhere off the strip to have a good meal. we had reservations for 6 and when we arrived were immediately seated in a corner booth. there was a wedding party of 40 there at the time but aside from a little extra noise everything was wonderful. our waiter tony was the best waiter i've had in all the years i have traveled. the appetizers were excellent, especially the fried calamari. several of us had the surf and turf special which consisted of 4 breaded prawns over a ribeye steak cooked in herb butter, spinach and roasted potatoes. the food was beautiful and perfectly prepared.
tony was great at checking on us and keeping the food coming from appetizers through the cannoli desert - after the restaurant all sang happy birthday to us.
i would happily recommend this place to anyone looking for real food and none of the strip nonsense at a reasonable price.

horrid! - the best part was how fast we were seated as it was immediate, from that point on - down hill. drink orders were taken - after 7 minutes (they were not busy) partial drinks delivered 4 minutes later - an additional 5 minutes went by before taking order - which included our appetizer order - from there, 18 minutes later, had to ask where our apps were? - which arrived 6 minutes after that - and only partial of that - which included app sampler. half the plate of apps were burnt - which included fried shrimp, calamari, mozzarella sticks, and ravioli's - they were burnt because they were using old oil. - after another 6 minutes the garlic bread arrived - and we are still waiting for the taste of garlic. 7 minutes later - soups and salads were dropped off - (whose heard of strained cream of mushroom soup? and it was extremely oily!) - at this time still waiting for main meal and a drink i ordered 15 mins. ago - and we just couldn't take it anymore - mind you we are not professional chefs - or restaurateurs - but we do eat out at least 3x per week - have been to many restaurants across the city - and by far this is the worst! we asked at that point to get our bill - we didn't even want to stay - we hand them our gold card - the mgr. was extremely nice - saying that he would take care of it - and asked us to stay - we said no, over and over - and stressed that we would pay - the mgr. said no! as a final token as we were leaving main dishes started to appear - burnt also - thank gawd we left! - i would never set foot in this restaurant again! - i would think twice before entering yourselves!

let down. a friend recommended this place to me a few months back. i took my wife, for what was supposed to be a pleasant evening. i reserved a table, we went in and got seated at this tiny 2'x3' table and could have eaten off of our neighbor's plates. the waitress treated us as nothing special, it was what do you want, here's your food, thanks for coming. not to mention she got my wife's order wrong and we had to send it back. the live entertainment was good, the wine was good. now to the food... my entree was $25 (there's nothing there under $20) there was no presentation. i ordered chicken fetticcini (however you spell that) and got this tiny little portion! we are talking of a dish that consists of noodles, a butter sauce, and chicken, that's it, maybe a whopping cost of $1.50 to make. i got (maybe) a half an ounce of chicken in my noodles? i've never left a restaurant hungry until i went to casa di amore and i'm not some big eater either. was my small dish {worth} $25 in quality? a clear answer would be, no. anywhere else i've gone, when you pay $25 per entree, you're leaving with a box of leftovers, period! the total was $78 and change, money i wish i had back. it takes a lot to piss me off but this place successfully got it done. my recommendation is take your money to the cheesecake factory or the sicilian ristorante down the street. you'll pay half the price for double the quality and service.

i ate here last week and am a vegetarian. the italian sautéed greens with cannellini beans was exquisite! the eggplant parmesan to die for and not to take away from the food, atmosphere or live entertainment our server was amazing. i wish i got his name but he was tall with brown hair and awesome! they have a meatless meatball that although spicy was fantastic, not too spicy...just enough. i will eat here on a regular basis. fyi, being a realtor if i want to take my clients to this restaurant, they have limo service! i can really impress my clients with food, entertainment, good service and great atmosphere. 5 stars!

traditional las vegas. so i wasn't around when vegas was the old las vegas, but if i would have been i can only imagine that this is what it would have been like.

i booked very far in advance and we were picked up by the limo promptly and whisked away to the restaurant, which was plush with lots of reds and photos and dim lighting.

the service was beyond amazing with the server and limo driver being very kind and attentive. for dinner we tried the hot antipasto platter which was good but very large, i had the chicken parmigiana which was good, but only offered with pasta even though i preferred veggies, and my boyfriend had the chicken fettuccine alfredo.

very classic dishes, but for some reason they seemed just average. so if you are not super picky go for the fabulous ambiance and service, and try something besides the two dishes we tried on our visit, which weren't spectacular.

tip: go sun or mon for 1/2 price bottles of wine, or any other day with a restaurant.com certificate for some money off your meal

good luck getting the free limo on a weekend. the atmosphere was good old school las vegas, but the service was terrible and the food was below average. will not go back, or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

old school italian. my wife and i had decided to come here for dinner a couple of nights. we were looking for a place close to my work and unlv. my wife mentioned there was an italian restaurant near the coffee shop she frequents. i'm always up for italian, so we decided to give it a try.

it had the feel of an old school new york italian restaurant.

for our appetizer we ordered the twice wrapped prawns. it was okay but not nearly as good as i was hoping it would be. the flavors just weren't there.

for our entrees we ordered the pork chops with vinegar and peppers and the eggplant di amore. both were quite good, and the portions were large.

the restaurant is a little pricey, so while i may go back, i doubt i'll be a regular.

rat pack era vegas. the wfe and i went here as part of our anniversary celebration after recommendations from friends who live in las vegas. we had a nice limo trip from our hotel to the restaurant, which is not in a great part of town. in fact, i thnk it was orginally a shakey's pizza. however, once we stepped inside, we immediately relaxed. we were warmly welcomed (rare anywhere in sight of the strip) into a comfortable family-style italian restaurant decorated to evoke classic las vegas. the floor show was entertaining and casual, the service was prompt and friendly, and the food was excellent. everything was prepared with quality ingredients, and like any good old-school italian restaurant, they made sure you don't leave hungry. to top it off, there was no problem lingering over dessert and after-dinner drinks. try that on the strip anywhere nice and see what happens! this is a fun, relaxed, and quality restaurant/supper club i highly recommend!

on valentine's day, my fiancé surprised me by bringing to casa di amore . the place gave off a vibe of a different time (as their slogan says, "vegas the way is used to be!"). pictures of old casinos and major las vegas entertainers from the past like the rat pack and elvis presley were displayed everywhere. even the live music of jazz, italian, and traditional pop set off a romantic vibe. as we sat at our table i was given a carnation flower, how sweet! i got the mi amore special and my fiancé got the bella notte : i chose the mi amore because i wanted to try the chicken rollentine (the way our waiter described chicken rollentine really persuaded me to try it!). slices of chicken are dusted with wheat flour or bread crumbs, covered in ricotta cheese , seasonings, rolled up and baked. my chicken was full of flavor! there was so much i couldn't finish it all. the side of the twice baked potato was very soft and and also full of flavor due to the cheese, i enjoyed every bite of it! thi
