carrabba's italian grill

was there on mother's day ... i was expecting a long wait and slow service... i was blown away at the speed and quality of the food and extremely short wait !!! love this place.. the service was on top of everything .. this was an amazing experience !!!!

birmingham carrabba's. we walked in and asked if we could eat outside because they said no tables were available. they said they had less wait staff and couldn't do that. why wouldn't a popular restaurant put out a call to their employees to see if they'd like to make some extra $ working more shifts? we just came from the talladeega sat race and after waiting 5 minutes they said our table outside was ready. when we walked out another family was already seated. the problem was waiting for the ticket as we had a longer drive to make.....

havent been here in almost 3 years. saw some new menu items. food was delicious as always but, portions seem to have been cut almost in half. great food, excellent service. hefty price tag...imo

food and service was very good. food was hot and plentiful. bread pudding was to die for.

although it is a chain resturant the quality of the food and service is simply outstanding. the pasta is flavorful, the chicken is tender, and the steak is cooked to perfection. i would highly recomend it to anyone that is a fan of eatting.

the quality is amazing for a chain. i highly recommend any dish with their marsala sauce.

update (june, 2017): a second positive experience, especially because of the excellent service and the quality entrees, including the tuscan grilled chicken (moist and tender wood-grilled chicken, and nicely seasoned with herbs and olive oil) and the rigatoni (italian sausage, red bell peppers, with caprino cheese), both of which were outstanding.

we were pleasantly surprised by our most recent experience at carrabba's. nice, comfortable space, plenty of parking, and friendly and knowledgeable service. fresh, sliced and warm bread was quickly served to our table, with olive oil and herbs, which never disappoints. 

to begin our meal, i ordered a refreshing arnold palmer and a cup of minestrone soup (many restaurants serve minestrone soup consisting primarily of stock and salt, but this soup was composed of a fresh and hearty blend of beans, onions, celery, tomatoes and carrots); my wife's salad was fresh. the entrees were nicely plated, perfectly prepared, and extremely filling: i ordered the chicken parmesan (italian breadcrumbs with pomodoro and melted mozzarella), with garlic mashed potatoes, and my wife ordered the pollo rosa maria (chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto and fontina, with a mushroom basil butter sauce), with grilled asparagus. our only complaint - the fried mozzarella (an appetizer) was undercooked. 

we stopped visiting years ago due to multiple negative experiences, but after this most recent dinner, carrabba's is back on our list!

the fall of carrabbas. poorly ran by corporate fired the manager hired a manager let him go, then hired some cheap cut corner scheme to make a buck. this place will be sorely missed. enjoy the food for the next week or so cause they going downhill fast. oh and dishwashers make the mash potatoes

carrabba's is one of my favorite chain operations; it's not great food but they have good wine by the glass at fair prices. they also sell the wine as "quartinos", which they measure out at a glass and a half.

ate here today for lunch and loved it! everything was delicious, will be going back. the only thing was that our server was very knowledgeable but he seemed to rush us. excellent food though:)

our favorite restaurant!. when we go on our date nights, this is our favorite restaurant! service is always great, although we usually try to ask for our favorite server, jasmine. their food is always fresh and well prepared......nothing frozen and microwaved here! their tomato basil soup is the best. sometimes if we are especially hungry, we order the chicken zucchini flat bread as an appetizer. if you do go after 6 p.m. on a friday, they will be pretty busy......but they do have call-ahead seating that cuts down on the time. bottom line......if you want very tasty and fresh italian cuisine, you can't ask for better!

wow. i am literally blown away by the experience i just had with carrabba’s. i have never eaten there, and decided for my last meal before i went on a keto diet, that i would get some pasta, and this is my son’s favorite place. i ordered delivery from uber eats, and even though the restaurant is 18 miles from my home, delivery was available. about 35 minutes after i ordered, my order was suddenly canceled, with no explanation. uber eats doesn’t have a way for customers to chat, phone or email, so there was no way for me to ask them what happened. at this point it was too late to order any decent italian delivery from any other restaurant, so i decided to try and call the restaurant to see why the order was canceled and if maybe i ordered something they were out of. i spoke to a nice young man named ethan, who said the same thing happened on their end and my order was actually sitting right there ready to go, but he said maybe his manager could help find out why uber eats canceled the order. janine the manager got on the phone and was super nice and said she had a number she could call to see if they could figure out how to get my food to me and would call me back. she called back and what she did blew me away. she said uber eats said i needed to put another order in to get my food, but she didn’t think that was a good solution. she not only was going to have ethan use his own car to bring my order to me, even though he wasn’t a delivery driver, but she was going to have them remake my order so it would be fresh and wasn’t going to charge me anything for my order!! i couldn’t believe it! so ethan drove 18 miles each way to bring my order to me. he was so nice as well!! the food was amazing to say the least!! i’ve never had a restaurant go so above and beyond for a customer before. i did give him a generous tip but it was much less than i would have paid for the meal, so the least i could do was write a great review for them. with the pandemic, restaurants are struggling, and this is one that deserves your business!! what a great team carrabba’s has! thank you janine and ethan!

absolutely our favorite place to eat out. the writers are always friendly, drinks are always cold and the staff at the bars always do small talk while working and always smile and let us taste some samples. best food ever!

my family and i were very much satisfied with the food and the service that we received. our waitress was danielle, she was extremely informative, and made great recommendations, and we really enjoyed ourselves. i had the chicken trio, and my husband had the johnny, the chicken was tender and juicy and so was his steak. we will definitely have a reason to come back. we appreciate your business. special thanks to danielle, great attitude, persona, energy, she was very patient and extremely nice. she's great.
