we came on a sunny sunday and sat outside. i highly recommend this place. they have a good variety of salads, paninis, pizzas, sandwiches and pastas. everything we ordered (and saw what others ordered), were/ looked good. the ingredients were fresh, their drinks were good, and it has a nice atmosphere. i will definitely come back!

located on bedford street, capriccio cafe has made a considerable impact on the downtown landscape in its few years of existence. expanding from its humble beginnings onto the sidewalk and (almost unforgivably) into the hull of what was once pat's, capric

it is a decent restaurant with great seating arrangement and delightful staff. it is one of the cafes i would love to visit again and again. perfect for sunday brunches or dinner snacks. i had rupesto panini which was had tender chicken and i loved the the combination of avocado with it.

on the casino day (to mohegan sun) this past saturday, we ate lunch here because our friend’s little nephew was fond of pizzas. the rains did not stop us from lunching al-fresco. we ordered a couple of pizzas – margherita and vegetarian, a caprese sandwich and a white bean orecchiette pasta. the food was decent. the half priced bottles for weekend brunches were a steal, giving you almost store prices. we ordered a bottle of the montepulciano and were not disappointed.

best italian in connecticut, by far. cappriccio is easily the best italian food in connecticut & probably better than most in italy!! it's a true cafe, come with your family & friends and enjoy wonderful food & a lively atmosphere. there's nothing better than enjoying a nice summer night at cappricio!!

excellent, affordable food and fabulous atmosphere. capriccio serves the kind of food us italians make at home on a daily basis (we're not always eating chicken scarpariello and eggplant parmigiana- not that there is anything wrong with these dishes). it's the real deal.

easy to find.... it's the restaurant with a million people outside on bedford street! there's a reason why so many people eat there: great food at great prices. they've got pasta, pizza, and other entrees. service is great and you can always be sure to see owner giovanni around, making sure things are just right.

nice spot outside dining but don't expect fast or top service. 2yo not offered high chair. a broken bottle on the floor took 10mkns to address. food reflects the price. probably best for a lazy afternoon dine

i love this place and frequent it all year long. what i can tell you is that the service is very lax and can become frustrating if on a lunch break. but if you want something don't wait ask right away!

love it. service aside, this is a great place. the prices are great, the food is good also. there pizza and salads are great. they never put too much dressing on the salads!! the pizzas aren't too doughy cooked just right and a great size. the paninis are amazing, and there pasta dishes are delicious. i would def. reccomend this place. the only thing that sucks is the service, you will have 9797 different waiters, but other than that is pretty good.

you can tell when the weather is nice again because capriccio café on bedford street in stamford is poppin'! people sitting outside buzzing with conversation, enjoying some nice italian food and wine, relaxing, and people watching. yeah, seeing the crowded outdoor dining on bedford street is a way better indicator of spring and summer than weather.com . after we got to check out zaza with nick racanelli jr., we were jonesin' for some food. capriccio café has always been a nice go-to spot for dependable food in a nice atmosphere, so we were down to enjoy the beautiful night. we started with one of our favorites, the antipasto misto. a nice mixture (misto) of prosciutto, dry sausage, bresaola , speck , parmigiano, arugula, olives, and roasted peppers that's big enough to share with two people. our favorite thing to do is take little bits of meat and cheese then stack that on the fork with the olive or the roasted peppers, then take a sip of wine. for our meals, kristien had the gravina

nice little spot. affordable and decent pizza. a good quick bite can always be had at cappriccio. stick with the pizza as entrees usually leave something to be desired. outdoors gets busy in the summer. make sure you go elsewhere if you're starving and looking for heaping portions. place is alright for lunch or a light dinner. grade b-.

this place is not good at all!! i ordered spaghetti al pomodoro and the pasta was overcooked and cut up. real italian spaghetti is never over cooked or cut up into pieces. the sauce was nasty and tasteless as well. i also tried the ice creamand it was at best mediocre.
