decided to give this place a try form lunch and it will be the last time. the server was cold and more interested in pushing us out the door than actually serving. we were a small group of three, so nothing that could overwhelm a person. i ordered the pan seared tilapia with sautéed spinach. the tilapia is supposed to be drizzled in garlic and butter. it came out breaded and pan fried. had i known it was going to be fried i wouldn't have ordered it. the spinach was swimming in oil. it was disgusting. i ate about three bites and pushed it aside. what should have been relatively healthy was now a disgusting fried oily mess. the waitress only came buy to fill drinks quickly and didn't bother to ask. doesn't everything taste ok? not batting an eye lash at a full plate of food still sitting on the table when we left. i won't ever go back.

poor service, mediocre food. my friend and i had dinner there last night.

first of all the service: after asking the waiter if he had any recommendations, he sarcastically replied, "well, this is a steakhouse." it went downhill from there. my friend ordered a second cocktail which sat on the bar for about ten minutes. the main course took forever to arrive. nobody came to check on how our meal was and the restaurant was not crowded.

my steak was barely warm although the side of spinach was hot. the food was over salted.

altogether a very disappointing experience especially as the food prices seemed over the top.

i consider myself a steak snob, preferring my own home-grilled steaks over most restaraunts. let me tell you that the rib eye medium rare at the chop house is as good as a steak at ruth's chris or flemings. and the spinach oyster salad is now my new favorite salad. give this place a shot if you're in the area.

a good steak place is always a little pricey. this is a great place to get steak. nice atmosphere, excellent, friendly service. sure it costs a bit, but you're worth it. treat the mrs.

average. my husband and i came here for a birthday dinner and both had steak. he had the ny strip and i had the filet mignon, both cooked medium. the service was great, but the atmosphere was a bit stuffy. the room looked like it needed a "modern lift." the food was good though...

so, i've had lunch here a few times over the past two years, and dinner two times. i think the steaks are very good and the salads and salad bar arefoid too. the service varies - our worst service experience was on a recent friday night when the place was 70 percent empty, but the wait staff had been pared down to the barest levels and thus one waiter (who was good) had six or seven tables and really could not keep up. two beefs: it is a bit pricey for the dated atmosphere i think, and the drinks aren't always great. i enjoy gin and tonic, andy last visit the tonic water was flat. overall, this is a reliable place to get a good steak.

good but overpriced. i had the 6 oz filet (medium rare), steamed broccoli, and the blue crab bisque. the soup was great, the steak was very tasty and perfectly cooked, but i have a hard time forking over $30+ for a 6 oz filet. convient to the hotels in the area, and the lack of local (read: non-chain) cuisine in the area is disturbing!

i like this place as a place to have lunch or dinner with clients. it works fairly well for that, more because of the location than the menu. the crab cakes are pretty good, and the crab bisque is a good place to start. they appear to have upped the quality of the beef selections. deserts can be huge. four if us split one tonight, and that made it about right. the catfish on the lunch menu works well.

a little pricey (and pretentious), but i did love my filet mignon and huge baked potato. i'd go again, but i wouldn't seek it out over the more commercial outback.
