cannot find one bad thing to say about this restaurant. the service is uber friendly and quick. the food is well prepared, fresh, and authentic. the salsa is tasty with a little heat. the star of their sauces would have to be a tie between the tomatillo based sauce and the chilie based sauce. but the most amazing feature of this neighborhood establishment is the constant stream of locals that come solely for the pastries/bakery items. that is a testament to their foot hold in the community. please visit the spot. it is worth it.

hands down the freshest and best mexican food in memphis. friendly service and enchiladas, tacos were great.

tacos here are served with cilantro, onion and radish - no piles of cheese and sour cream here (did i mention authentic ?)

order some burritos, they are just amazing! the staff is super friendly. you can call in advance and they'll have your food ready by the time you get there.

excellent tacos. and excellent, friendly service. while we were waiting for our tacos, there was a steady (actually, constant) stream of customers purchasing this establishment's wide array of baked goods, revealing the fact that caminos is both a great mexican restaurant and something that is unfortunately rare these days...an old fashioned neighborhood bakery.

caminos de michoachan. i often look for mexican restaurants. to eat at well i found my place this is a five star. best service ever very pleased food so great i gotta make this trip every weekend

family stop through-delicious. we read good reviews here and decided to try it. we stayed overnight in memphis. the fajitas were fabulous. the gorditas were great. the guacamole was the best i've ever had. make sure you try the hibiscus drink. would definitely come again if in this area.

great price great food. simply put.

it was a nice place they had a bakery and a lot of sweet yummy looking things like: some weird doughnuts, buns, rolls, and a bunch of other stuff that i looked at but couldn't understand.

i didn't find it all that great. i'll give it another shot but probably not for a while.

oh my! agua de horchata. this is the place for mexican food. period. first when you order you need to get the agua de horchata or the agua de tamarindo. the first is a milky sweet with cinnamon drink which is liquid love, the second is tamarind. both awesome,
the food is incredible. the love of the pastries... desserts... its really endless.
truly a place which represents the beauty of food.

since i had lunch here with cheryl last september, she's already experienced a few major life changes including leaving her daytime job to write for her lifestyle blog the stylist quo , and to start her own social media management and marketing business sq modern media, and getting engaged. hey, as long as i got this post out before she's married and has babies, i won't feel so lazy.  i also really don't want much more time to pass before i spread the word about this restaurant.  cheryl's keen sense of taste scoped out this gem serving up authentic mexican dishes and sweet pastries. as with most bloggers i've met through twitter, i suggested breaking through the digital world, sometimes a barrier, and have an authentic face to face conversation.  it was truly a pleasure to meet such a talented writer who can open up about her frustrations and her passions in her blog. she pulls you right in with every emotion. it's authentic and refreshing. i wish i could do the same. cheryl was quite

i went to try a new mexican restaurant and the taste of the food at this one seems that it comes out of a can.

the tacos are perfect the way you find them in mainland mexico. they are actually somewhat healthy as compared to the heavy "mexican" food found in most of the us. it also greets you with vibrant, fresh colors on the plate. delicious!

amazing pastries!. a friend took me here recently and my mind was utterly blown. i bought way, way too many pastries and each one was better than the last. i was very surprised at how inexpensive they were. the food smelled great and i can't wait to go back for a full meal. and more pastries. :d
