california fish grill

i personally prefer blue salt fish grill in redondo beach slightly over california fish grill. the fish is still good, i like the swai and salmon.

omg, i have never had swai with so much flavor. the garlic butter was liquid heaven i added some lemon my taste buds were on overdrive. i can't wait to go back and try their other types fish.

this place rocks. awesome food! went their for lunch and it was perfect. i had the fish taco special for $6.99 and was just the right size for lunch - tasty in all regards. be warned, the place gets busy quick but the staff makes it happen - popular place and now i see why. if your in the area, try it and you will be a repeat customer.

this place is always a good place to sit down and have a nice meal, no matter if you like salmon, ahi or catfish. everything is good.

posted on february 7, 2011 by southbayrantsnraves i'll admit it. as much as i spend time in el segundo, i rarely stop by the edge at el segundo plaza. i really need to do this more often. with that being said, the last restaurant i reviewed there was la sirena over a year ago. it was clearly time to try something new. a few weeks after i saw california fish grill for the first time on one of my shopping trips, i made a mental note to try it in the near future. making good on my promise, i headed back a few weeks later on a busy wednesday lunch. i thought it would be good to see them at their busiest, it would give me a good sense on how efficient they run. once i entered the chaotic dining area, i grabbed a paper menu and perused it a bit. it reminded me of malibu fish grill in redondo, but with a larger menu. after the cashier, who appeared to be going through the typical lunch rush motions of "for here or to go" rather than the more laid back small talk banter took my order, i headed

loved it! the food was amazing! we went in, got our food quickly without a line, and we were impressed! the food was sp good! best fish tacos ive ever had! i want to go back for lunch tomorrow!! :)

at california fish grill, all they serve is fish. they have the freshest fish delivered daily and is cooked(grilled) to order - none of that frozen mess. this place is the real deal when it comes to fish. i tried a variety of stuff on the menu. my favorite is the swai. at first, i was a bit curious as to what the heck swai was. it turns out that it is a variation of a shark or catfish, or both? it is also california fish grill's most popular item - they call it the "white ruffy". of all of their fish, the white ruffy is my favorite! my order came with a bed or b

fresh fish & awesome service. perfect place to go during lunch. the fish is excellent, and is tasty.

fast food. this location also serves very fresh grilled seafood and tasty tacos as its irvine branch; but its ambiance is no comparison. it is 100% self-served, all food dishes are served with styrofoam plates and plastic-wares. limited "uncomfortable" seating. self-served soda machine and condiment areas are so small. i'd put it to fast food category, then it's acceptable.

fresh fish!. this place has the best fish tacos i've ever eaten. and their fish plates are splendid too. i especially like the grilled catfish. prices moderate. try it!
