we ordered chocolate crepe, croissants and some pastries. the chocolate crepe tasted like instant powdered chocolate. the croissants and pastries were good. however the service wasn't very good. the table we sat wasn't wiped at all and the waiter didn't give our change back and instead he put them in the tip box which was very odd.

nice little cafe that offers all sorts of cakes, breads, buns and drinks. i personally think that their taro bubble tea with grass jelly is the best in the city centre. good place to wind down and relax

not only do they have fruit and tea based bubble teas, but also milkshakes, fruit slushes and drinks to which you can add a choice of seven different flavours of jelly pieces.

i love their strawberry cream cake!!! it has layers of strawberry jam and sponge! its the best thing those guys have. i tried their fruity ice and some milkshakes. the fruity ice is basically fruits with crushed ice all blended together. i ordered mango with strawberry and it tasted ok.
for their milkshakes, they taste good but i felt there was something off with them. turns out later that they use flavoured powder instead of the ice cream or fruits to make the milkshake, e.g. mango flavoured powder instead of mango ice cream or real mangoes. i tried their mixed fruits cake.. it wasnt that good.
ambiance is nice but the place is a bit small. i like the overall design of the place.
if you are passing by china town and the arcadian, you might as well give their strawberry cream cake a try since its worth it.

birmingham is reputed to have the second largest population of malaysians after london or so i've heard. so when i headed there for a weekend trip, i was looking forward to a particular malaysian restaurant that i've heard good things about. most importantly, they serve marmite chicken . i mean marmite chicken, i absolutely love this dish since it was invented less than 10 years ago. so i arrived into birmingham and it was straight onto dinner even though it was way past what is considered to be the usual dinner time. over the course of the next few days, i've been coming back to savour on other malaysian dishes as well. the restaurant that i've been talking about is called malaysian delight. this looks like one of your typical local rustic place and is definitely not posh or the like. i wasn't bothered as most importantly, it is always the food right? below are some of the dishes that i've tried. kangkong belacan crunchy stems and silky leaves that have picked up the belacan sauce so
