cafe sundowner

the most talked cafe in the town! it's on rooftop of prangan hotel. the view is mesmerizing, food is good, service is good, the rates are also fine. it has a nice bar and separate dining areas. so pleased to visit, the staff were courteous. worth going.

a beautiful and pleasant rooftop restaurant with great an ambiance a place which is really in hype just for clicking good pictures. the waiters are not properly trained, they don't even understand what we are actually ordering and the attitude amongst them is like "wow, man as if we are here at your service" can't use the word remarkable though. all the chinese food seem to be sweet and even indian delicacies doesn't contain much of the spices. coming to drinks, badly in need of good bartenders i suppose because the current ones do not know how to mix up the drinks nor do they master with the presentation of the same talking specifically about mocktails and cocktails. we had ordered honey chilly potatoes as starters which tasted only like honey potatoes and then we had a non veg starter lonestar barbecue chicken leg which was again very very sweet for main course we had dal makhani which was saltless and spices were also missing accompanied with a butter naan and garlic naan which also were somewhat not upto the mark. overall the food experience was very horrible apart from that we had ordered drinks like fresh lime soda sweet and salt but it was again much of sweet, we asked for breezer but they only had one flavour available which was tasted like medicine but we can't blame for the flavour but yes we can blame them for not keeping better options and lastly we ordered a margarita which was very sour we literally had to give up on this drink and last survivor was coke here to keep us from spoiling our tastebuds for the day. we payed a bill amounting rs.1650/- which seemed unworthy of the experience we had with the food and drinks. so only one good thing about this place is the ambiance which is soothing and hygienic to be around. the perfect time to visit this place is only when you badly need good instagram pictures to increase your audience interaction. i hereby prove, do not judge a book by it's cover.

i heard a lot about this place but the food was not up to the mark the ceaser salad was too salty and a load ton of pepper was there . not recommended to order this

this rooftop restro bar is amazing. the interior is beautiful and well decorated. soothing ambience & fresh vibes makes it a nice place for hangouts. but the food was kinda disappointing, they definitely need to improve in that part.

restaurant review: the restaurant is very well decorated with simple and sober interior.they have huge place to accommodate enough. also complimenting a roof well decorated with flowers,bunch of plants & furniture selection u can find out from my picture.simple decor adds a fresh and shuttle look.

food review: they have huge selection of food (chinese, continental, italian and mughal)

i ordered as per chef’s choice to find out what they are best at. so here’s the list,

1. chicken wings: look good,sauce on the wings was tasty but not the chicken they have served me
was not upto the mark.

2. prawn risotto: must try if u like risotto.

3. chicken sandwich: platings was good and sandwich was also good but can be better as per the price.

they serve alcohol and hookah as well.

if someone wants to spend good time with family or loved one or friends. this is the place where one can relax, chilling out with friends and can be arranged a special date too.

beside the ambience nothing was good at that place.. slow and very bad service.. food was average.. and some food items were worst.. the worst of all was non-veg club sandwich, honestly i haven't tasted anything worse than this.. and the chilli garlic non veg noodles lack every flavour.. unsatisfied and not recommendable.. the ambience is awesome though.. if you like fancy restaurants without good food, it is definitely a good one for that..

updating my earlier review about this place after today bad experience. was served stale chicken for my chilli chicken order.
prangan's newly developed rooftop restaurant and bar is the place to be explored if you like good open air rooftop dining, drinks and prompt service. i have been to their x'cuse bar at the ground floor but this one is awesome. food tastes good and prompt. ample space to have some privacy. one this this place lacks is live music and happy hour. this place badly need some better sound system. 😜

amazing food, drink and ambience! i’ll keep coming back and recommend my friends as well! but but but they still use plastic straws.. please turn to paper straws :)

bhubaneswar’s brand new cafe is both a visual and culinary treat. if you want to eat authentic wood fired pizzas, look no further, sundowner is the place to be. a special shout out to their mojitos, they make it with fresh fruit which is something i’ve never tried before. people in bhubaneswar, you now have your new haunt.

sundowner is undoubtedly the best cafe in bhubaneswar. it has such an elaborate menu without compromising on the quality of food. definitely would recommend to all.

its one of the most beautiful places in the city. a wonderful rooftop seating, true to its name- the sundowner cafe. the food is great as well specially the butter garlic prawns and wood fired pizza.
