unbeatable!. super fresh homemade food! glass of wine, coffee frappe, hummus & pita app., falafel app., gyro w/ great fries, veggie gyro w/fries, the best baklava ever, owner gave us a free slice of insane homemade cheesecake (not sweet and light)... $42.50 highly recommended by us!!! must try this place!

never too busy or loud and the food arrives fast. relaxing atmosphere. food was fantastic (the gyros alone are so enormous you could hurt someone if you threw it at him) first well-lit place i've been to; can actually see your food! would recommend this to all!

very nice little place, parking can be tricky because of how it sits on a corner but it has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff seem very nice. called in a carry-out order on a tuesday night, was ready in 20 minutes as promised, they weren't busy at all, some people were enjoying a rare (lately) mild evening on their patio.

gyros were decent and while the "oregano fries" were crispy they seemed just generic, maybe frozen types, not actually greek potatoes as we expected. food was hot but when we got home they'd forgotten the extra sauce i requested, not sure if i paid for that or not.

prices are fair, i'd say closer to $$ than $ but i'd give them another shot to try some more substantial greek meals.

excellent food at an excellent price! i would definitely recommend the nova gyro. atmosphere is inviting, calm and you can hear your own conversations.

this place is incredible.! the service, the ambience and especially the food are exceptional. all at good prices as well. i strongly recommend this place.

awesome food. my husband and i enjoy discovering new places to eat in st. louis. we are tired of the same old chain restaurants. this was a wonderful alternative. the gyros were huge the fries very tasty even the greek salad was a wonderful change of pace. we sat outdoors and enjoyed the cool pre-fall evening with a bottle of wine. it was an extremely enjoyable meal. the waitress and staff were very attentive without being annoying we will definitely be back for more.

very good/great atmosphere. my typical girlfriend got the chicken tenders which were really good and i got the gyro nova. everything tasted great and i thought the service was excellent. coffee was superb and i'll definitely be back

best cafe in stl. i can't say enough good things about this place. it's a very clean, pleasant, comfortable cafe with outstanding food - probably st. louis' best-kept secret. it's so nice after a long day to relax here. in all the times i've eaten here, it's never overly loud or crowded and most importantly, it's so clean you can eat off the floor. i always order the greek salad and the chicken panini sandwich with fries. the salads feature fresh, high-end ingredients and deliciously simple, light dressing. the fries are the best i've had - perfectly seasoned, crispy on the out, tender on the inside, not overly greasy, and they taste soooo good in catsup. the sandwich is equally outstanding. lettuce, tomato, melted cheese on juicy, lightly-seasoned chicken breast... mmmmmm :) . and a friend & i can eat the aforementioned meal - which always leaves us stuffed - both for $24. by far, this is a favorite of mine.

fantastic!. this place is fantastic, the food is fresh, full of flavor and affordable. my new favorite place! the owners are very friendly and knowledgeable!

improving the best!. it's been almost a year since i wrote this review. i've been there about 15 times since. nothing has changed, except it has become even better. the food is always fresh. the tuna panini is unbelievable. simple tuna salad has become a deluxe mediterranean feast. and of course the french fries are great. ana and dennis and ana's mother are extremely welcoming. and a new baby arrived in july. congratulations! you are doing a fabulous job. please, check out cafe nova! thank you.

today we add another jewel to the diadem of new middle european restaurants in st. louis. my first visit to café nova was on a sunday afternoon for coffe and cake. we had a great french press and chocolate cake and some croatian rakia. we sat at the bar and talked with dennis, the owner. the conversation was very good, friendly and we had a good seat to watch the various beautiful dishes of food coming from the kitchen. it was clear that a second visit would be necessary. the wednesday night before thanksgiving provided that opportunity to savor the tastes of albania. the beef samosas are truly delicious. the tiropita will carry you to heaven. the crisp filo dough, drenched with butter and cheese needs no further praise except that it exists. the entire meal is lovingly prepared and artfully presented. the owner's wife, anna, took time to sit and converse with us. the decor is simple but elegant. natural light fills the restaurant during the day. i have a feeling that everything here is good. take time during the holidays to visit café nova. make it your gift to yourself. food, atmosphere its all there!. omg, found this place by accident yesterday. wondered in at 1:30pm to an almost empty cafe wondering about my choice, but was pleasantly surprised with the great service and fine food. my tuna panini must have been assembled on the spot as the tuna was chunky and fresh, the seasoning spot on and garnish of spring greens and cucumber fresh. the falafel was served atop fresh tazaki (ms), feta and vegetables.

the cafe was clean, the bathroom well kept and the decor' modern. while other places make take a break between lunch and dinner this place exceptional. if they continue to deliver this type of quality experience day in/day out, we'll need reservations at 1:30pm.

best coffee e-v-e-r. i fell in love with this place today for lunch. i had the best cafe latte i have had since i was in europe. smooth, robust and gorgeous presentation. food was a smash hit, cheap, and delivered with exceptional service.

delicious!. we always order delivery on those special lazy days and cafe nova employees are nice and always remember us. their food is always delivered in a timely manner and is priced well. the food is amazing. the quality is consistent and no matter what we order, we enjoy it. we find ourselves craving cafe nova.

also, their coffee can beat out anything i could get at starbucks.

just had their veg gyro & fries via free delivery with french vanilla latte. it was an absolute delight for just $10+change. what a deal!! i will definitely be ordering again soon.

we live within walking distance, and have been eyeing this place for a while. tonight we finally got the opportunity to go- wife, myself and our one year old son.

outside, its a bit unassuming, but when you walk in, wow! gorgeous, and the food! delicious and very lovely presentation!


i'm going to be a regular for sure!
