for gluten free, they seem knowledgeable and careful, which is lovely. i know it’s not always possible in a small place, but gf offerings are limited making it a challenge for those with true allergies and celiac. with that said, it’s so charming, comfortable and friendly that i’d return to have the same dish over and over. the hot chocolate is out of this world!

pretty much perfect, especially for a refreshing drink and some special dessert. food is really good overall - soups, sandwiches, and some tasty breakfast options as well. don't miss the iced turbo on a hot day (frozen blended drink with espresso & quality chocolate). shop has gift items, too, and there's a nice outside garden area to sit when the weather's nice. along with the bulls head, a lititz gem not to miss.

forgot to mention, this place serves real chocolate, not that crap that hershey produces. hershey produces a crappy fake chocolate with tons of additives and their hershey kisses taste like plastic.

i left this cafe pleased and full! dont pay attention to the negative posts about food or chocolate. this place has an excellent menu and is well priced, i find this place to be relatively cheap for the quality of the food. if you understand food and chocolate this is a great place for you. be advised, this place has a lot of vegan and vegetarian based dishes, so if you just want meat there are few items. however, i loved that this place had so many vegetarian options, since i don't eat meat that often and most restaurants just serve mounds of disgusting meat. overall, i would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good food, chocolate and drinks!

our experience here was terrible!. five of us went on a sunday afternoon. not a large group but we waited for 20 minutes to be seated (the restaurant wasn't full) and after that it was as though the staff forgot about us for another 30 minutes. their menu was quite limited and a few of us didn't even want to order food. again after we ordered, it took a while for food to come to the table. orders came one at a time and two people waited an additional 10 minutes for their food. i made a comment that i didn't want tomatoes in an omelet. it came cold and with tomatoes. i reordered, bad idea... that took another 20 minutes.

we went to try their desserts since it is "cafe chocolate" but they again didn't come to our table to ask if we wanted any. after waiting a while, we finally went to the counter to ask if we could order desserts. the only thing they were prompt with was clearing our dishes before we were finished eating.

we were so glad to leave after a painful three and a half hour brunch. unfortunately that wasn't my last interaction with them. they charged me twice for my meal and still haven't returned my call after speaking with them three times. sorry for the bad review but this place was really terrible all around.

yuck!. first off, the owner is a complete weirdo! she thinks she knows everyone who steps foot into that place. personally, i liked it when it was benner's. the food here is completely overpriced and nauseating. the chocolate is terrible too! who in there right mind wants a chocolate bar as bitter as burnt toast?! not me thats for sure! i was hoping this place would be gone under by now but it still remains..tomato pie cafe will aid in the take over, i guarantee it!

wow.... if i could finish the review with just that i would. however, there are a few things that need febally said. the peanut butter panini was elegant, crisp and a perfect balance. as for the chili, live a little and ask for it spicy. it was amazing. you'll wait a little, but good things come to those who wait.

perfect for the chocolate lover in all of us. i love this place. everything has a little bit of chocolate in it. selina adds a little love to each menu item and it all comes out perfectly!!! just tried the chocolate crepes - delectable!

nice, unique place in a small town atmosphere. the owner is friendly and helpful. she seems to know more about chocolate, cocoa, and a lot of things, for that matter. in a town with a chocolate factory, this place still stands out. prices are not that low for the fare here, but not out of line. the one place for improvement is speed of service. it is glacial. need to bring that up a bit. but make the visit and you'll be happy you did.
