i cannot put into words how good the food and service is here. excellent is not descriptive enough.

excellent choices and quality

considering it’s in a museum, wasn’t expecting much in the way of good quality. pleasantly surprised to find it to be on a par with a good high street cafe. just had veggie soup as a sit down break from the long museum viewing and it hit the spot nicely, full of varied veggies with a nice seasoned stock.

the cafe section for coffee only is good too with a very friendly local girl on the day we visited at least.

love the light, airy space of this café. the grilled chicken sandwich was excellent ... the fries were run-of-the-mill. i also didn't care too much for the chocolate chip cookie, which is surprising because i have a major sweet tooth. i would come back for the sandwich.

the mim comes to phoenix. the musical instrument museum is the world's first truly global museum of its kind, and it's right here in phoenix. there are over 14,000 musical instruments from over 180 countries. what's totally cool is the ability to walk the floor with headphones and listen to music from every region and watch the musicians on flat screen displays inside the exhibits. the international foods cafe provides a great rest stop in between visiting continents. opens april 24, 2010. enjoy!
