i really want to like this place. the atmosphere is excellent, and they appear to have a lot of options upon arrival. looking at the menu, though, the options seem very limited. there's not one choice that has both eggs and pancakes. all egg dishes (and almost all breakfast dishes) come with only fruit or toast. the kids menu has no eggs at all, maybe it's just me, but that's really odd. this location is where families can come for a small breakfast, which is nice compared to chains with overwhelmingly large plates, but the prices don't reflect the modest sizes - i guess that's to be expected in mequon. also it gets loud quick with the open atmosphere, and sitting next to a crying child can happen often. the food has good flavor, though service seems hit or miss. i do like the addition of the salads/bakery if you're in a hurry or want something on the go.
