the service on the weekends is extremely slow. you wait 40 mins for a starter. they have a lot on their menu which causes them to take time to fulfil orders. best believe if you are a couple, your table will be arrived last than larger tables. disappointing. maybe they should cut down on their menu. they can’t deal with the amount of people they get.

lovely fresh seafood, and their sushi is to die for🤤. plus how can we not talk about their perfect location with the ocean views! will definitely be visiting c-bali again when in margate.

they fry all their food in the same oil, and having a shelf fish allergy, all the fried food, including chips, is off the menu. the manager never checked up on our table. our waiter, max, was excellent.

visited during the first long “allowed” weekend. the place was buzzing. this however did not affect the service and quality of food.

the assorted sushi menu converted an anti sushi foodie. the cocktails were amazing with such a variety.

the platters take it home though. all food is fresh and prepared with such care.

please try the seafood potjie.

so good to know some restaurants value all customers and prepare for the influx of holiday makers.

definitely the best sushi on the kzn south coast with lots of craft gin cocktails to choose from. the dragon roll is a must have 😍

probably our worst dining experience ever. first the service was pathetic and then when we asked for a medium rare steak, we received what must be the driest piece of charcoal ever. when they replaced it, we received a piece that was raw. the manageress came and admitted it was not even rare. no apology or attempt to salvage us as clients and we were asked full price for the meal. shocking that places like this continue to survive and can only be because of their location

i was down at marina beach for this december holiday and was urgently craving some sushi. me and my mom found c-bali on zomato and decided to give it a try. although we waited almost 30 minutes for our sushi, the sushi was super fresh, the rice was the perfect consistency and overall the atmosphere was great! i will definitely be making more visits to c-bali. thank you for helping me meet my urgent sushi craving while on holiday☺️.

the food is so amazing and deserves a higher rating, but with almost non-existent service and a 2.5 hour wait for a table and food, including the fact that they hadn’t started our sushi starter when our main was ready, this score is pretty apt.

this restaurant has so much potential with an amazing liquor selection and gorgeous location and setup, but over promising and underdelivering never goes down well.

best sushi and cocktails in town - the rainbow rolls were amazing. right on the beach front. so you have both a great view and vibe. they also have an extensive gin and craft beer menu. very helpful and friendly staff

food was average, service was shocking. the waitress couldn’t be more uninterested, i asked what milkshakes they have for the kids she said, “we have all flavors, tell me what you want!” asked for an extra side plate only to watch it going around the restaurant to the table next to us for a chat while being rubbed on the waitresses apron etc before finally arriving at our table. and to top it all off, incorrect price on the bill vs the menu, after pointing it out i was made to feel like i was niggling for r15, told them to keep it and left but in hindsight 10% was too generous a tip 😕

had great service and great food. loved the notice about saving the local environment and charging for paper straws. made a donation on the bill under straws for this worthy cause. my biggest gripe? please remove the fokof and win signs from the tables. this is a family restaurant and it is embarrassing when kids read it out aloud and ask what it means. come on guys, don't spoil it for yourselves, you have a lovely restaurant.

i absolutely love this little restaurant! the vibe is great. the food is amazing! and they are located at one of my favourite beaches on the south coast. i always try something new when i'm there and am hardly ever disappointed. their burgers are mouth-wateringly good, their seafood delicious and their sushi divine! i keep coming back to this place every time i'm in saint michael's!

stumbled upon this restaurant on our weekend away in the south coast. such a good find! the staff was so welcoming, energetic & friendly. the food is amazing! we were a group of 6 so i got to taste a couple of things on the menu. - if you’re ever in or around shelly beach, i’d recommend you stop by there.
