bytes - grand plaza mövenpick

we ordered coffee & tiramisu, did not like tiramisu at all. coffee was good- taste & quantity wise both. ambience is nice & modern, staff is friendly.

lack of variety and low quality. even soft drink & coffee are not included. very convenient location & friendly staffs, but the food was disappointing compare to the price.

i went with family for buffet, range of food were less and not worth to go again.
staff also need to be polite.

the location is not easy due to construction but the place is amazing and food is delicious but i'm expecting more as a 5 star hotel

food was delicious and lots of variety of everything. you can get sea food, pork, beef, lamb, cheese, pizza, pasta, sushi, lots of sweets, chocolate fountain... would be better if they add some staff for friday brunches as personnel wasn't enough for so many people, they didn't have a second rest, going from table to table and trying their best. idk if its because of ambience there but it was very noisy, maybe later they can open the doors and people can sit outside as well.

from the mountains to m’city, i am presenting you a new brunch in town: the alpine brunch and après brunch party at grand plaza movenpick. beginning at 12.30 pm and lasting until 4.00 pm. aed 249 per person with soft drinks and water and aed 399 per person including house drinks. you can indulge for hours in the delights of appetizing alpine salads, cold cuts, traditional flavors including sausages (pork station), comforting mains and granny style desserts while giving a chic touch with fresh oysters, seafood and sushi station.

movenpick grand is one of the newest 5 star hotels in the city and of course, the restaurants that comes with it has to be up to par. with a swiss theme in mind, the hotel’s main restaurant, bytes holds a popular brunch that is enjoyed by all those who visit, especially swiss nationals. i noticed a huge variety of the dishes were gathered to their taste buds and swiss music was playing throughout the day, which is something different!

situated on level 4 of grand plaza movenpick, bytes has a grand entrance that began with the dessert counter for the brunch, how cool is that. the views were really pretty with the tall window panes giving a lovely view of dubai. there is an outdoor seating as well which would be amazing during the winter season.

attended the lovely exclusive media alpine brunch and après brunch party.
the alpine brunch, serving a vast variety of dishes with authentic alpine flavours.
the place was beautifully set up for brunch, with counters for fresh cheese, cold cut meats, pizza station, sushi station, and a live pasta counter as well. relaxed atmosphere, ample natural light and spacious interiors contributed to the beauty of the place.

free flowing beverages (alcoholic/non alcoholic) were included, with a different proce range for each.

the mains were served as a-la-carte. we ordered the oven roasted chicken with fries, sauteed green beans ,ravioli & the herb crusted salmon.

form the variety of pizzas, margherita pizza was good. the pasta was prepared on order.

dessert station was vastly spread. chocolate fountain for dipping marshmallows, brownies and fresh fruits. black forest cake, chocolate came and the lemon tart was our favourite.

the staff was prompt and friendly. tables cleared promptly and drinks served swiftly.

fridays are for relaxed brunches with family and friends. so, what better way to kick-off the weekend than with a new brunch concept in town. from the alpine mountains to dubai media city, grand plaza movenpick has designed an alpine brunch at bytes restaurant where we experienced the authentic alpine flavors.

i was here for the alpine brunch serving traditional dishes of various traditional dishes from the  european cuisine. 

the restaurant is perfectly setup for the brunch with huge stations serving meats, pizzas and pastas and desserts. there is also various types of cheese and a huge variety of salads. the concept is good where the selection of mains are served a-la-carte. 

while the taste and flavors are brilliant, for this price point there is a limited variety of food. the beverages are free flowing and include water, coffees, fruit juices however the mocktails has only one choice - a pomegranate lemonade.

we tried almost everything of which i must say the pizzas and the mains were the best in addition to the awesome desserts and ice creams. in the mains we had the herb crusted salmon fillet with lemon sauce, the ricotta - parmesan ravioli on sage butter, the over roasted chicken "backhendi" and the onion sautéed green beans. the salmon was fresh and the crusted herbs only enhanced the taste. the ravioli melted in the mouth. the oven roasted chicken was very well done however has no flavor.  

in the desserts what i loved the most were the cheese cakes and the carrot cake. the selection is huge and you could binge on these throughout the brunch.

i visited bytes and felt in love with a sunset and their vegan burger! that is just fantastic! the best burger ever in my life! my friends also loved it even though they are not vegans. just try it...
