i loooooove the fact that you can order via mr delivery and ubereats!!! especially from a place like this,their food is top of the range and the sauces!!!! i cant even describe it. amazing portions and cuts♡ thank you for the technological upgrades heheheh

great vibe - except the wednesday night i went the music was off which just allowed me to hear everyone’s convos and eventually get a headache
however went on a sunday and with the music on it was great. food was good - simple but good. the steak is a must try - definitely worth the visit.
service was great but kitchen was a bit slow.

such a lovely experience at butcher block florida road! the staff are super friendly and the menu has a huge variety! their steak is top quality and i will definitely be back!

check your receipt! i caught a waiter overcharging me at this location, and when i returned hours later he admitted it and cashed me out from a female coworker’s purse. i emailed the management and owner and received no reply. private messages to butcher block’s social media accounts were read but also went unacknowledged. schemey operation.

good food as per butcher standards but not the greatest of service unfortunately. great for people watching - we were thouroughly entertained by the ladies sitting next to us selling underwear. weird vibe

decided to go for lunch ,great ambience an sitting outside,had a trio of carpaccio amazing 😉 service not so great ,but it's a great place for my afternoon relaxing will be back hope i'll get my favorite beer heineken in stock

visited butcher block on florida road this past weekend for a lunch date with a friend.

i am a steak & wine girl so best believe that’s the first place my eyes go to on the menu😉. i added a bit of a twist this time around by ordering the ‘surf n turf’ - rump steak smeared with garlic & white sauce topped with chargrilled tiger prawns & a bottle of franschhoek cellar of course!

i’m very particular when it comes to my steak & though the chef didn’t quite get it perfectly right it was still a party in my mouth & i enjoyed my meal. besides their delicious food & great variety of wines, the restaurant looks beautiful & the staff is friendly! i’ll definitely be back.

i was met at the door by a friendly and helpful bouncer. nice crowd, great interior and decor. the service is, however, awful!!! took so long to get our drink order (about 20 minutes) we decided to ask for the bill and not even bother with their food. 25 minutes after asking for my bill, i’m still being held hostage by my waitress who won’t bring the speed point!

hubby and i had valentine's dinner at butcher block and our food was wonderful!
delicious and refreshing cocktails, lovely starters and the mains were divine. i had the fillet steak which was cooked exactly as i'd requested (hard to come by) and hubby had the bbc burger and it was packed with toppings and so tasty!

inventive food as well as local crowd favorites that are always delicious. steak cooked to perfection and ribs that are sure to get messy but definitely leave a smile on your face.

so i'll be moving cities soon and i wanted a nice sit down dinner with my two girlfriends.

it was freezing out so walking into this warm, urban , sort of unfinished look of a restaurant was so inviting. the chatter of guests and soft music made for the perfect setting. it was a pity that they had no cocktail menu, but they were at least able to provide us with the recipe book that was accompanied by pictures. the waiter didn't pay much attention to us though.

we had to ask for everything... napkins, cutlery, salt and pepper. he walked passed my empty g&t 5 times before coming to fetch my glass and even then he didn't offer me another round, i had to call him back to ask for one. even when it came to paying, we waited for 15min for him to finally come with a speedpoint.

he seemed uninterested and under-motivated.

great food, beverages and atmosphere...its a pity  i can't say the same for the service

lovely place for when you drooling for a nice juicy steak. the food , restaurant, service is all average. nothing interesting , nothing bad , it all average. well.... except for their steak! it awsome

had my belated birthday lunch there with my friend...loved everything! food, ambience and our waiter lindani was so sweet and helpful. lovely
