if there's one thing howie knows, it's how to cook great tasting food. from subs to pizzas, i have always had a great meal from burke street pizza. my favorite pizza is the chicken pesto, and my favorite sub is the chicken parm. their best side is an order of garlic knots. but you might want to pass on those if you are there with a date.

we love it!. the 18' pepperoni pizza is just right for a family of six (including 2 toddlers).

the staff is cool too.

unbelievably poor customer service. called for delivery and was told they are not allowed to deliver to hotels. asked my hotel and they said they have delivered pizza here before. when i called back and told bsp robinwood what my hotel told me, they hung up on me. my experience may be an exception to their normal level of service, but it is one that you may want to be aware of. needless to say, i'll not be taking my business there.

actual ny style pizza. thank goodness! i was very worried about not being able to get a good pizza fix when transplanting to the south- this place squashed those worries!

live less than 4 miles away and i am out of their delivery area.

not a terrible pie, but not a 94% pie at all. the salad to me seemed like it was pre-packaged. the crust was just not up to par for what i like. the wings were slamming, but pricey. i didn't hate it and i may return, but i am gonna try other first. oh, the lady and the register had a nasty attitude. wasn't mean spirited or anything, just not pleasent.

the blackened chicken and spicy sausage were spread evenly over the pizza that had been lightly sauced. sweet red pepper, fresh green bell pepper, and tangy banana peppers added tons of flavor and beautiful color.

don't get me wrong, it is good pizza, but for someone who's missing their long island hand tossed pizza, i'd go to elizabeth's on hanes mall and silas creek for a serious craving fix.

best pizza in winston. when your eye's on a pie, you have to come to burke street. this is easily the best pizza i've had in the area - the crust is deliciously thin and crispy, and the slices a generous new york style cut. sold by the slice or by the pie, this pizza will stand up against any local competitors, including the impressive mm downtown. i can honestly say that burke street is the only pizzeria that can satisfy my craving with something as simple as a cheese pizza slice.

don't ignore the rest of the menu, by the way. their meatball parmesean sub is to die for. their apps never disappoint, and my companions have raved about their other hot and crispy subs.
